A to Z Challenge - Q

If your new to this Challenge, every day of April, minus the Sundays you blog about the letter assigned for that day. To find out why I’m blogging about what I’m blogging about, then go here. Today’s letter is

Samantha’s word – Quinn

Well, the only Quinn I can think of is Brady Quinn , who was supposed to be Notre Dame’s savior for them to “Return to Glory” but he certainly wasn’t that.  He was a decent QB, maybe even a little better than average but he hasn’t done crap since he went pro.  Which seems to be typical with their QB’s lately.  Wait, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman or something like that.  I think my mom used to watch that show.  I don’t remember much about it other than it took place in the old west (I think).  Aiden Quinn, I know the name, don’t really know who he is by face.  I know he’s an actor.  I just googled him and I’m ashamed to admit that he is on one of my favorite current shows.  I suck.  That’s about it I got for Quinn, the paragraph was longer than I expected.

Trevor’s word – Quilt

We just bought a new quilt a couple of months ago.  We don’t use a comforter on our bed, Cheri prefers a quilt.  But she is very picky and rightfully so.  The quilt we were replacing she has had for years and years (I think) but it was nice because it wasn’t heavy.  That’s the main attribute that she looked for because if it’s too heavy for one, it’s too warm, and two, it’s harder to move at night.  Which for her is a big deal because she’s a mover all night long.  I’m a log, for the most part, once I’m out, I am out.  The second attribute for Cheri is of course it’s looks.  She found a pattern she liked online, we went to the local target to check it out and ended up buying it.  I’m pretty sure I can find a picture of it on her Instagram, probably with a cat on it, but you’ll get the idea, I’ll go look, hang here a sec.

Told you I could find a few, and they all have Kitty on them.  She has over 200 photos on her Instagram, I bet at least 150 of them have Kitty in them.

  1. Aiden Quinn has been one to watch over the years; love him in 'Elementary'. Quilt--now there's a favorite of mine. Wish I could own many more.

    1. That would be the favorite show that I was talking about. I knew the name, just didn't realize who it was.

  4. I taught Brady Quinn in High School, he was such a nice young man way back then and so intelligent. Although, I could never figure out if he really loved football, guess so, since he went Pro. Oh, I love a lightweight Quilt too but prefer no kitty on it and yet I totally understand why a kitty wants to curl up on a comfy quilt. Boy did I ramble LOL

    1. I never had anything personal against Brady, other than his choice in college, but you can't fault him there because education wise, it is a great school.

Everybody needs a kitty for their quilt. They go hand in hand, don't they?

    1. See, that's what I said a few comments above. You have to have a kitty to go with your quilt.

    1. That's kind of why we had to retire the previous one. Not that she clawed it, but she wore it out when she would jump up to our bed. It sits rather high and she lands at the edge and uses her claws to catch it.

It's hot here, so we're not into quilts. They look lovely though.
