If your new to this Challenge, every day of April, minus the Sundays you blog about the letter assigned for that day. To find out why I’m blogging about what I’m blogging about, then go here. Today’s letter is
Samantha’s word – Popcorn
Now this is something I can get on board with. I do love me some popcorn. But even better than that, movie theater popcorn. I have actually, on occasion, walked into a theater, bought some popcorn and walked out with it. I LOVE movie theater popcorn and I can’t go to a theater without it. Which is why we don’t see movies much anymore, between the cost of tickets and the huge mark up on popcorn, it’s an expensive trip. I don’t eat popcorn as much as I’d like, for the most part, I just don’t think about throwing some in the microwave. I think I should change that. It’s probably more healthy then the chips or cookies I tend to snack on late at night.
Trevor’s word – Pear
I also like pears. But again, I don’t hardly ever eat any. Although I do have a cup of fruit every morning on the days that I work. Mainly fruit cocktail, sometimes peaches, depends on my mood. I actually take fruit and orange juice in sippy cups to work for breakfast. It’s great, because the containers don’t leak in my lunch box. So people may giggle behind my back, but if I cared what they thought, I wouldn’t use them.

Tossing It Out
I'd say you accomplished that. Thanks
DeleteHey! New follower from A to Z! :)
ReplyDeleteMelody
Thanks for visiting, I'll check yours out a little later tonight.
DeleteA Great idea! Fruit salad in a sippy cup for lunchboxes for my girls'.
ReplyDeleteHappy A to Z posting.
Actually my daughters idea, she was in soccer and they weren't allowed drinks on the bus, so she bought sippy cups and snuck sips when she could.
DeleteHi, Jeff,
ReplyDeleteI like fruits, but don't get enough.
Popcorn with butter? Bring it on.
I used to get butter at the theaters but not anymore, it's usually soaked in it. I do love the butter, just not the soggy popcorn.
DeleteYou made me laugh with your comment about going to a movie theater, buying popcorn, then leaving! Hilarious! I can't see anybody doing that. :) I'm going to try to link with your post. I've never done it before, but I'm going to give it a try.

True story, one of those cravings I just couldn't ignore anymore.
DeleteGreat post from theboth of you! I like popcorn with plenty butter and salt but I don't think I would go to movie theatre to get! I love pears! Just coming into season here in South Africa.
ReplyDeleteSusan Scott's Soul Stuff
I like a lot of butter as long as it doesn't make the popcorn soggy.
DeleteI'm the horrible person, with a giant purse, that brings a full meal in with her when she's sees a movie. They are so expensive. Sometimes my husband and I make a date night of it and will eat there, but it ends up costing a ton.
ReplyDeleteLove the sippy cup idea! Not a bad use of them.
I don't blame you, it's freaking expensive. Sometimes double the cost of the tickets, which are bad enough.
DeleteA sippy cup... really??? Okay I laughed, not at you, well, maybe it was at you. Then I thought that was a good idea and maybe I should buy a sippy cup.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you courtesy of the A-Z. I'm your newest follower.
I've used other things and everything always leaked, I've used the sippy for over a year now and never have had a leak.
DeleteOh, I'm about to do a popcorn post. I'm just checking out what other A to Z are doing. Love your humor--thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteKids Math Teacher
