You people scare me
How much do I hate people? More than I like driving fast.
I'm a lead foot, I drive faster than most others on the road. However, I'm not aggressive, if I get behind someone going slower, I usually just slow down and get behind them. Even on 4 lane roads, if my next turn is a right turn, I get in the right lane and stay in it, even if I'm not turning for awhile and there isn't much traffic. Now I won't if they are ridiculously slow, but you know, around speed limit slow I do.
Today, I was driving my daughter and her 2 friends to the mall (which you would already know if you followed my Facebook page). The route there, I took the faster route. It was snowing, roads were a little slick at places but not real bad. I didn't enjoy my ride there at all. I just don't trust people, especially when conditions are getting bad. People are stupid and become even more dumb behind the wheel of a car. I've been in accidents and I know how I react, I trust my driving. Or maybe it has to do with my oldest being in a car accident yesterday, but I just didn't feel all that comfortable.
So on the way home (and there and back, when I picked them up), I took the slow route. Speed limit is between 30-40 and it is probably the most direct route. It's 2 lanes all the way up until the road the mall is on. Now remember where I said it was snowing and roads were a little slick. The faster route is pretty well traveled and also straight so the roads were decent where as the slower route is less traveled and curvy. Did I mention it's curvy because it follows the river?
The slower route was much more comfortable, despite all that. Why? Less people. I didn't feel like my head had to be on a swivel because I didn't have to watch as many people driving.
Maybe it's my old age, maybe not, all I know is how I felt driving today.

Day #3 - Indiana
As for yesterday, I walked 3.46 miles so definitely better than the last few. I walked all the way through the neighboring town without stopping. It was probably a mistake as the road I was taking took me right through downtown. It was definitely a good idea to take the ax because there were a lot of them swarming about. I stuck to the sidewalk and for the most part, they didn't see me between the cars parallel parked and the buildings. Once I got out of town, I followed the river so I really only had to watch out one side of the road. Tomorrow will be a rough day as I will be hitting the biggest city in this area but with a decent page, I may be able to get all the way through time.
Here's the cozy house I stayed in last night.

Day #1 - Indiana
Well, I got out yesterday and did a little walking. We are dog sitting so I took Milo for a walk. That always makes me feel awkward because I have to put my Fitbit on my opposite hand because I hold his leash with my right hand and it doesn't register my steps.
I need to get out and walk today soon because it's supposed to rain this afternoon. Tomorrow I go back to work so I'll get back to getting steps there. I walked 2.6 miles yesterday which wasn't real far, I basically made it into town and not much further. According to Google maps, this is where I stayed.
As you can see, there are a couple of vehicles there so I had to take out a few zombies. I used my gun but I decided I needed to find something quieter because now there are some zombies outside wanting in. I'll just ride them out until tomorrow. Hopefully, they'll be gone by then. I'm going to look for something here that I can use for a quieter weapon. I thought about using that truck but I think it's safer walking, engine noises attracts them. Walking, I can go my own pace and such. I'm in no hurry to get to SLC. Slow and steady wins the race.

Quick Book Reviews–Tartarus & Sheol by Jason Brant
I try not to go into the storyline too much on my reviews because I hate when reviews are spoilers.
I’m going to review 2 books today because they are a part of the same series. I reviewed the first book of the series here. I believe I gave it 3 stars.

Tartarus (West of Hell #2) by Jason Brant
After escaping Gehanna in the first book they board a train which ends up being just as deadly as Gehanna. Most of this action takes place on the train to Sheol but only makes it to the Tartarus river because of a couple of outlaws. So the couple has to battle the moaners as well as the bandits.
I like the 2 main characters in these books and enjoy their banter back and forth. This was another really short book like the first one. I think I would have rather read all 3 together as one book but I didn’t pay anything for them, so I guess I can’t complain. I gave this 3 stars on Goodreads as well.

Sheol (West of Hell #3) by Jason Brant
After the death of the outlaw at the end of the last book, Karen has to survive a town ran by a ruthless Sheriff while knowing there are thousands of moaners heading their way.
I liked this one better than the other 2 and I gave it 4 stars. I probably would give the whole series together 4 stars because the main problem was the length of the books together. The ending was a little far fetched as far as a western would go, but it is a zombie book, and those aren’t real anyways. Plus, I liked the ending because it was a chance at survival.

Weekly Catch-Up
I updated my cover photo again this week. The Walking Dead starts in 2 weeks.
Updated my profile pic too. This was taken awhile ago but I thought it was fitting.
I created this ecard after my daughter came home with a popped tire. She said she slid into a curb at Walmart, which I believe, but she said that she is so unlucky. That I don’t believe, I’ve seen the way she drives and know the way she lies.
I was really proud of both of them but Trevor is the one that usually does really well so it was a surprise to see Samantha come home with the 4 star award.
It’s the same people, over and over again. I know your stance, I know you hate Obama, say it, then move on. Not post 10 different things saying the same thing daily.
I guess I didn’t do too much on Twitter this week. Although, technically, I posted 20 tweets during this time. This was the only one that won’t get posted elsewhere on this Weekly Catch-Up. I post my Instagram, Blog Posts, and Tumblr links all to my Twitter as well.
Didn’t do much on Instagram either. Just another picture that I post to make my wife jealous because Kitty likes to lat with me on the couch.
I love when Wil Wheaton is on “the Big Bang Theory”. Maybe because he annoys Sheldon and we all know how funny Sheldon is when he’s annoyed.
Sawyer was hilarious on “Lost”. Between his sarcasm and his nicknames, he was by far the funniest character.
Do I really need to say anything else about this.
More of “the Big Bang Theory” hilarity.
The greatest basketball player ever.
“Jay & Silent Bob” with Chris Rock
80’s awesomeness.
Another great show going by the wayside. I loved watching “Leverage”.
Finished “Almost Kings” by Max Doty. Review from WWW Wednesday #3.
This was a good book. It follows a high school senior and his younger brother who is a freshman. The younger brother looks up to his big brother and wants to be just like him. Until he starts become one of the gang, the Kings, and he starts to see what they are really into and where it can lead.
This is more of a drama and not what I normally read, but I enjoyed it all the same. It had a bit of a dark side to it which made it enjoyable.
Listened to (All Items 2) a total of 128 tracks.
Left to listen to (All Items) a total of 960 tracks.
Total of 1,088 tracks.
I haven’t done very well this week. 4 days off work and I only worked out 2 days. It’s been so cold, I’ve been avoiding leaving the house.
