If your new to this Challenge, every day of April, minus the Sundays you blog about the letter assigned for that day. To find out why I’m blogging about what I’m blogging about, then go here. Today’s letter is
Samantha’s word – Germs
Wow! I go from fungi to germs. I can’t win. My feelings towards germ, meh! I’m not much of a germaphobe since I started working at AACOA. I tend to stick my hands in chemical tanks and everything else at work so regular old germs don’t scare me. People have lived their whole lives without ever using hand sanitizer and have been fine. As a matter of fact, I’ve never used it and guess what, I rarely ever get sick. I’ve only called in once into work in the last 3 years for being sick. So yeah, not afraid of germs. I have faith in my immune system for now. I don’t really have a problem touching anything either, no matter the texture (unlike my wife).
Trevor’s word – Golf ball
Now there’s something I could talk about, well, golf more than golf ball. I love to golf, I hate the price. Sort of like going to a theater to see a movie. I would do it all the time if it wasn’t so freaking expensive. Like I said, I love to play. I’m decent at it, nothing to brag about but I usually keep my score under 100 which considering I rarely play, isn’t bad. All I know is I haven’t been beat by a family member yet. My brother lived on a golf course for a year or two and played all the time. The last time we went out and played it came down to the last hole but I pulled out the victory. Even my cousin brought his clubs up from North Carolina the last time he came and we played. I pulled out a victory on the last hole again.
Actually, as far as golf ball goes, I did used to collect them with logo’s on them. Anytime I would go somewhere or my mom would, we’d pick one up. I still have the collection but it’s boxed up somewhere in hope that one day, I’ll actually have a man cave to display them in. I had a pretty decent sized collection, I think.

Congrats on the healthy immune system - mine's a bit pants but ah well.
ReplyDeleteI've never been anything other than mini-golfing - I think I'd be dangerous with a swing (as in let the club go flying rather than 'good').
I love the mini-golf they build in the film Overboard.
You could always set up a tumblr blog for your golf balls - you know, if the man cave isn't forthcoming.
I'm dangerous with a club as well, although it's a controlled throw, usually in anger after a horrible shot. In golf, not mini golf, that would be really embarrassing.
DeleteI got enough Tumblr accounts (4), but thanks for the idea. A mancave has to be in the future, it just has to be.
Ha - I can just see a mini-golf tantrum.
ReplyDeletePinterest board then? ;0)
There you go, I don't have one of those.
DeleteJust so that you are fully informed - it can be addictive.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I've noticed. My wife has one, I thought I'd be supportive and I added the RSS feed to my reader, little did I realize how much crap she can pin.
DeleteI think it's great that you're letting your kids share the fun of this challenge. The more things we share with our children the closer we become as a family.
