This Week - Journal

Monday (January 23rd)

Went into work and something happened to where the tanks turned on too early. I don't know if a power outage screwed up the system or what but 2 of the tanks were almost empty so I spent the first hour trying to get the tanks filled back up.

Cheri scheduled the garage guys to come fix ours tomorrow afternoon which is perfect because there is supposed to be a storm coming in. It's only been one night parking outside and I'm already over it.

Tuesday (January 24th)

Nothing really special happened today. I got home right after the guy got here to fix our garage door. We're supposed to get hit with a pretty big snowstorm tomorrow morning so I'm happy to be able to park in the garage again.

Wednesday (January 25th)

I stayed over 20 minutes at work trying to get some last second stuff done so I'll get to leave a little early on Friday. We called Danna back for 2 10 hour days tomorrow and Friday and we tried to call Mecario back for next week but we haven't heard back from him. If he doesn't call back then Danna will get his hours.

I came home and Cheri needed to go to JC Penny's to pick up something she ordered so we left a little early to hit CVS to pick up her pain patches then grabbed supper at Barnaby's because it was before 5 and we like to get there before the rush. We definitely did that as we were the only ones there when we got there. Which is totally different then the last time we were there and it was so loud. After that we hit Penny's and did the curbside and then headed home for the evening.

Thursday (January 26th)

My boss gave me a bunch of stuff to do like I don't have anything else to do. I don't have a problem getting done what he asked other than he wants it done by tomorrow. That's probably not going to happen but whatever.

I came home and finished logging my Thomas cards and then started the sorting for the shop. I was extremely sleeping and did a lot of head bobbing while working on them. It might be an early bedtime for me tonight.

Friday (January 27th)

That stuff I was supposed to do for the boss. I didn't hardly do anything towards it. I didn't even have a chance. I had to leave a little after noon so I don't go over my 40 hours.

Came home and chilled with Cheri for a bit before heading  downstairs to sort more cards for the local shop.

Saturday (January 28th)

Kevin picked me up and we headed off to Lansing for a card show. It took about 2 hours and 20 minutes to get there but the ride was much more pleasant than last time. No backroads or constuction. The show went alright, it was really busy but the sales didn't concur with the traffic. It wasn't a bad show money wise, just not as good as we usually do there.

Sunday (January 29th)

I actually slept through the night for the first time in awhile. This stupid cold has been kicking my ass but hopefully it is on it's way out. I was sleeping so well that Cheri woke me up so I didn't sleep too long.

I finished sorting the cards for Fred and boxed them back up and then started logging my cards that I picked up yesterday in.

Worked texted to tell me they changed our hours, for no particular reason. I responded with, I'm changing my phone number so you can't annoy me until I get to work.

This Week - Eating Out

Saturday (January 21st)

Kevin and I did a card show 3 hours away so we stopped and grabbed some breakfast at McDonalds. Didn't have much of a choice, that was about the only fast food on the way that was over that early. Food was good, nothing to report on service. It was all good.

We grabbed some Taco Bell on the way home. We went in because he doesn't like to eat TBell while he's driving. It was good and I'd give them a green light but again, they didn't put much of anything in the taco. The Mexican pizza  toppings only covered about half of it and my cheesy fiesta potatoes had sour cream all over the outside of the container. I guess I should mark them down more but at this point, I'm just happy to get everything.

Monday (January 23rd)

The boss decided on Taco Bell this evening. Once again, they nailed everything and the guy at the window was extremely nice. They've been really good after a really bad streak which is great as we eat there more than anywhere else.

Wednesday (January 25th)

We hit Barnaby's just before 5 so we could get in before it got busy which we definitely did because we were the only ones there for a while. It was nice because last time we were there it was really loud. Pizza was good and we got it quick so no complaints. The girl behind the counter was pleasant. She isn't always. Not that she's mean or rude but she's usually so busy she doesn't take the time to chat. I even made a crack to her when she brought our Garlic Bread with Cheese about how she knew it was ours and she made a joke back. I'm pretty sure she's almost there every time we go.

This Week - Journal

Monday (January 16th)

I tried to sleep in my bed last night. That didn't go well. I think the CPAP made it worse. I ended up just putting my legs and head up like I was in my recliner, took off the CPAP and went right to sleep so I'm guessing that's what I'll do tonight.

Work sucked, nothing was going right with the line. Boiler issues, Air issues, the whole damn line is an issue.

Went to Tractor Supply and picked up dog food, hit Martin's on the way home to pick up some ranch and then came home and finished my Frank Thomas box so I'll probably run by the card shop tomorrow after work.

I might crash early tonight, I'm pretty tired already. Been fighting dozing off for the last hour.

Tuesday (January 17th)

Nothing terribly exciting today at work. The line actually ran well. They are talking about doing 5 days now this week, of course, I also heard they were going to take 4 hours off everybody so who knows.

After work, I ran to the card shop and dropped off the box of Frank Thomas cards and gave him $10 for the ones I kept. Came home and Samantha was here, we chatted and watched a movie while she did her laundry.

Wednesday (January 18th)

I have to admit, I forgot how great it is to leave work at 1. I have so much time at home when I get there. Although, I filled up on gas and went to Goodwill to drop some stuff off so for the 3rd day, I haven't come straight home yet.

Cheri was in the storage area, cleaning and organizing for the 3rd day in a row. She's going nuts down there but it makes her happy. Once she got done, we ran to Goodwill (2nd time today for me) and dropped a couple more items off. Then UPS to return some Amazon stuff and grabbed some supper. I had Chick-Fil-A and Cheri had Sonic.

Thursday (January 19th)

Next week I'm getting my 3rd shift wastewater guy back so I can go back to doing my job. Travis thanked me for pulling the numbers for all of our production vs all our scrap and put it into charts for him to present in a meeting. He also asked for all of our downtime for last year which I had to update 1st because I hadn't done much with it since taking over the department. About an hour before I left they told me that we will be swapping my wastewater operators, one week the 3rd shift guy, one week the 1st shift guy, that way everybody is getting some hours until it picks back up.

I came home and went to the card room to work on the Frank Thomas cards I got. I didn't get too far before I just laid on the couch and took a nap because I knew Cheri wouldn't let me sleep if I went upstairs.

I tried to watch the Michigan game tonight, I got about 3/4 of it before the stream cut out and I couldn't get it back. They weren't playing that great anyways but still. I think I'll struggle a lot more to get basketball games in then I will football or baseball but we'll see. Such is the way of a cord cutter.

Friday (January 20th)

I actually slept normal last night. CPAP and didn't have to elevate my head and legs so much. Hopefully I'm about over this cold.

Slow day at work. We had our daily MRB meeting and I had a coughing fit. I mean, real bad. I almost threw up a couple of times because I was coughing so hard. I heard one guy say this is what happens right before they become a vampire. I have no idea what triggered it. I left at noon because I hit my 40 hours.

I saw my cousin was at the card shop so I went over there and chatted with them for a bit before coming home.

Saturday (January 21st)

After my good sleep the night before, Cheri decided to sleep in the same room again. I fell asleep ok but I woke up at some point, coughing my head off. Every time I thought I was going to stop coughing, I'd start up again. I decided I better move to the recliner so Cheri can sleep. I rolled over and she was already gone. Damn it!

Had to get up early for the weekend. My cousin and I went to set up at a pretty big card show but it was just under 3 hours away in Lima, OH. It was a pretty great show, we did well and it was packed most of the day. Had a good time as I usually do at shows. Always great hanging out with mostly men and talking sports all day.

Sunday, January 22nd

I took some Nyquil to help me sleep solid. It worked as I slept straight until a quarter after 7, except I made the mistake a laying back down and ended up sleeping on and off until 11. Going to sleep tonight is going to be a bitch when I have to get up at 3:45 tomorrow morning.

Haven't really done much today, I've been down in my card room since I got up, trying to get those Thomas cards logged in. I'm down to a couple more stacks so I'll probably work on them after work this week since I'll be getting off at 1.

This Week - Eating Out

Saturday (January 14th)

Kevin and I hit McDonald's this morning while traveling. The door said the lobby opened up at 7, it was 8:15 and it was locked. We got them to at least let Kevin in to use the bathroom before running through the drive-thru. Food was good and quick. Perfect.

Sunday (January 15th)

Trevor brought home Dairy Queen after work, being as he works there, everything was good and since he brought it home to us, I don't have anything to say about the service.

Tuesday (January 17th)

It was time for one of my trips to the other plant so I grabbed some breakfast. Everything was good, service was good. The same lady was at both windows so I'm guessing they were short staffed. I think she threw in some extra hash browns, both bags were full and there was still some in the bag.

Wednesday (January 18th)

We hit Chick-Fil-A while we were out tonight. Usually this place is perfect but today, the drive-thru line was actually slow. Not necessarily slow, just slow for Chick-Fil-A. They were actually using their speakers. I won't hold that against them though. The only other issue was they forgot our salt, which is what makes the waffle fries perfect so they were not as good but still good.

I had Chick-Fil-A, the wife wanted Sonic. She didn't complain and I didn't eat anything so I don't have much to say.

This Week - Journal

Monday (January 9th)

I slept like crap last night, as I usually do on Sunday nights. Something about going back to work after having days off. Last night was worse than usual, probably because I had 3 weeks off.

I got to work at 6 like the boss told me. I usually go in at 5 and make sure the line is running before everyone gets there but he didn't want me to and they ended up not starting to run until almost 7 because of an issue with the airlines. I worked 10 hours and am absolutely wore out, and I didn't even do that much. Way too much time off of doing nothing.

I called and cancelled our cable so now we're "cordless." Our antenna came in today and I hooked that up so we can watch local TV which will mainly be to watch sports. Most of the shows we watch can be streamed.

Tuesday (January 10th)

Nothing terribly exciting today. One of the girls crashed a load but no damage was done to the parts but it took a bit to fix everything. Still haven't had any meetings which is great. I did have a Teams Meeting online but I ate lunch and listened to music during it. I just unmuted when I needed to say anything.

Came home and ran out to Xfinity to drop off the cable boxes (we're officially done with cable TV) and UPS store to return some Amazon purchases. Right up the road from the UPS store is Firehouse Subs so we went there for supper. Cheri actually wanted to go in and eat which was shocking to me but we did. The chairs kicked her ass which would be why we don't normally go in.

I'm super tired tonight, I may crash early but I'm trying to get all my online stuff done.

Wednesday (January 11th)

Actually had my first meeting of the year. I say actually because we usually have a ton of them. I guess I should say in person meeting because I did have a Teams (online) meeting earlier in the week. That is the one nice thing about not having everybody there, way less meetings.

Found out at work that we're only working 32 hours this week. Well, I'm getting 34 because by the time they decided that, it was too late for me to leave early today and I'm working 4 hours tomorrow.

Thursday (January 12th)

I was out of it this morning, I don't know if it was the cold or the Nyquil I took last night. I probably shouldn't have gone to work. I'm pretty sure I had a fever for the first hour I was there. I kept telling myself, you only have to be here for 4 hours. Only I ended up being there 6 because they brought a hot part down after the line was shut down so I ran it myself and had to stay until it was done. Plus I had a few other things I had to finish.

I got a text from Cheri asking if I sneezed on the pantry door, I replied that I don't think I did but who knows. Apparently it was covered in snot. I went back and watched our cameras, yep, it was me. Oops! I told Cheri it was payback for her giving me the cold.

I'm missing my first Michigan game, it's hard and I don't like it but it is what it is. I'm following the game online and I'll watch highlights when it's over, maybe even the whole game if I can find it but it sucks not being able to watch it. Hopefully the next game is on something I get.

Friday (January 13th)

Woke up feeling like crap. I couldn't breath out my nose so I spent the last few hours tossing and turning. I checked the Nyquil and it apparently only works 6 hours so I'm guessing I slept good until it ran out.

I rode with Cheri out to her chiropractor and then ran out to the card shop. The owner had let me know he had 2 5000 count boxes full of Frank Thomas so I ran in and picked them up before going to pick up groceries and grabbing some lunch then heading home.

I went downstairs and started sorting the cards to see what I needed. I haven't started checking but I already pulled out enough dupes to fill one of the boxes so I'll take that to the card show tomorrow and give it back to the owner of the shop who also sets up there.

Saturday (January 14th)

Kevin and I set up at the Fort Wayne show. Had a decent show but we depleted our football and basketball and need to restock before next Saturday. We picked up some today but Kevin is going to try to get some more during the week.

Sunday (January 15th)

I can't believe we are half way through January already. I slept in the recliner again last night. I slept pretty good. Woke up a few times but I got up around 6 and took some more Dayquil and laid back down and slept until 9. I definitely sleep better in the recliner with this cold.

When I finally did get up, I went down and worked on my Frank Thomas box. I was hoping to finish but its taking me longer than I thought. Since I get off at 2 this week, I might jump down and work on them for an hour or so wnen I get home. I've already got a stack bigger than I expected and I still have quite a few to go through.

Cheri was working in the storage room so she was down there with me as well. After supper, I stayed upstairs and watched TV while she went back down there. I figured she was just going to finish the tote she was working on but it's been a couple of hours and she's still down there.

This Week - Eating Out

Saturday (January 7th)

The wife was wanting some breakfast at lunch so it narrowed it down to where we could go. She actually chose Copper Creek. I had the Gyro while she loaded up on breakfast items. Food was great, service was good. The waitress said it was only her 3rd day but she did fine. The price got a little steep. I can see the extra $3 for her bowl of gravy but $5 for a side salad with nothing but lettuce with 2 pieces of tomato & cucumber. I'm okay with that, I'm in it for the Bleu Cheese dressing anyways but I thought $5 was a little expensive for it.

I'm starting to wonder if my wife is having pregnancy cravings as much as she wants Taco Bell lately. I wasn't really feeling it but the boss gets what she wants. I ended up just getting a nachos grande, taco and a drink. I wasn't really that hungry. I got a little scare when I pulled up, the first thing they said was they were out of, and I went crap, but he said change so exact change and cards. Whew! I said I had a mobile order and gave him my name. Then he started to read my order and said, oh, we're out of Mountain Dew Baja, oh wait, you got a regular Dew. Whew again! I gave them another green, everything was good and right but they did forget my extra cup of cheese.

Monday (January 9th)

We hit the drive-thru at KFC for supper. I had to wait on my fries but they told me up front that it would be a 4 minute wait and wanted to know if I wanted something else. I told him I was fine waiting, they just had me pull up until my food was down. Granted there was nobody behind me but whatever. Everything was good, even the wife's custom order and they remembered her butter and honey for her biscuit.

Tuesday (January 10th)

We were out and about so we ran over to Firehouse for supper. We usually do carry out but since it was a last second decision, we ate in. Everything went well, food and service were great. I actually rounded my change up (I rarely do that) because it was for firefighters.

Friday (January 13th)

We were out and about today so we grabbed some Sonic for lunch. It was good but the seemed to skimp on some stuff. My burger didn't have much on it as far as condiments and both of our chili cheese tator tots didn't have much chili on them. Like I said, it was alright but they weren't what they usually are.

The boss decided she wanted Taco Bell again for supper. They got everything and everything was right but like Sonic for lunch, they didn't put much meat in anything. My taco was good but both of our Chalupas (mine chicken, hers beef) didn't hardly have anything on it. It's my first complaint about Taco Bell in the last 5 trips so there is that.

This Week - Journal

Monday (January 2nd)

My mom and stepdad came by and picked me up for breakfast. We went to Copper Creek again. We met my aunt, uncle, cousin and his wife there. Food was great, as always. Love the Greek Skillet. I will miss these breakfast get together's on Monday when I go back to work. Only issue I had was I had slept in my contacts and my eye was bugging the crap out of me. I took them out once I got home.

I worked on My Sports Obsession's year in review and posted it. I need to work on the one for this blog. Maybe tonight.

Pretty much hung out and watched TV until this evening. Cheri and I ran some stuff to Whole Foods to use the Amazon Drop Off and grabbed some Sonic for supper. We came home and I went looking for something to watch so we're trying Three Pines on Prime.

We didn't stick with Three Pines, Cheri thought it was too boring so I'll add it to the long list of shows that I'll watch when I'm alone. We're watching Black Adam now, she won't like it, it's not her type of movie but I've been wanting to see it so here we are.

Black Adam wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I felt like those DC characters were generic Marvel characters. We also watched Blacklight with Liam Neeson. Again, not bad but not great.

Tuesday (January 3rd)

Woke up a couple of minutes before my alarm because work called. I wasn't too pissed since I was getting up in 2 minutes anyways, other than they woke up my wife.

My cousin picked me up and we headed to the local card show and spent about 6 hours there sorting cards. I did baseball and sorted them by players. I ended up filling up a 5 row box of all the cards I sorted.

Came home and ran to Taco Bell for supper. Now just trying to find something to watch. Tried Kaleidoscope but the wife wasn't into it. She doesn't pay enough attention to anything so it has to be really good for her to stay with it. I'll add it to my list of shows to watch when she's not around. We ended up looking for a movie on the Fire Stick, picked one and as always, it wasn't what we picked but it had Owen Wilson so we watched it anyways. It was called Secret Headquarters. It was alright, had it's funny parts but some of the action was pretty cheesy.

Wednesday (January 4th)

Woke up earlier to take Duke to the vet, he's getting a tooth extracted today. Cheri's really worried because they have to put him to sleep but she's not too bad since he's been put to sleep a couple of times without issues. Hit Taco Bell for my breakfast and then McDonalds for hers then headed home.

Been down in my card room scanning and logging some cards that I brought home yesterday and then worked on some spreadsheets.

The vet called and said Duke did well and we can pick him up at 4. I'm sure Cheri is relieved.

Duke is home now and Cheri will baby him back to health. We'll probably watch TV the rest of the evening but I'm not sure what we're doing for supper. I'll probably end up running out and getting something since she won't want to leave Duke even though he's just laying around.

I was right, I ran down to Subway (blah!) which I'm not a big fan of but that's what Cheri wanted. I was right, neither of us were all that happy with the food. There's a reason I've only eaten there one other time since 2020.

Thursday (January 5th)

Not too much happening today. I was going to go to breakfast with my uncles and cousin if I woke up before 9 but I ended up sleeping until almost 9:30. My cousin and I were going to go card shopping but we both decided we weren't in the mood and then I sat around for an hour playing on my phone while Cheri watched TV. I couldn't decide if I wanted to go work in my card room.

Work called me to do their Thursday check in and informed me that I will go back on Monday at my usual time so we'll see how that goes. My Plant Manager is supposed to call me today to let me know but I wouldn't be surprised if I don't hear from him. Not long after, my 3rd shift operator called me to bitch about maintenance not listening to him. I told him now you understand why I can't get anything done on 1st when it comes to dealing with them. They always think they know better. I tend to pace when talking on the phone for awhile so once I hung up with him, I decided to head downstairs. I don't really have much card stuff to do so I'll probably work on blogs and spreadsheets while I decide if I want to do anything else.

All the TV shows are coming back so we'll be sticking with the DVR for the most part for awhile in the evenings.

Friday (January 6th)

I ran over to Sluggos after I got up and we headed to Schererville to the Baseball Card Exchange. We hung out for a couple of hours between shopping and Sluggo talking. I picked up a couple cards for me and a couple for a guy I trade with Ann Arbor.

Just got teared up at the ending of Call Me Kat. Such a touching ending about the loss of Leslie Jordan. He was one of my wife's favorite people, and I like him as well so that news hit us a little bit.

We've been screwing around and looking more into the streaming in order to drop cable. I'm not sure what we're going to do. Essentially, the only reason we have cable which cost just over $100/month is so I can watch Michigan and White Sox games. Most everything else can be streamed and watched elsewhere. We've spent most of the evening working on it.

Saturday (January 7th)

I slept in way too long. I didn't wake up until 10 am which is going to make it really tough to get back into the routine work schedule of waking up at 3:45 am.

I got up and unhooked the cable box and DVR and put them in a bag and the wife and I headed out to pick up groceries and drop off the boxes to Xfinity. We got there and they told us we couldn't cancel the cable because we just signed a contract. Apparently when I talked to them last week, he signed us up for a whole new contract without even telling us. So now I have to call and get them to cancel the contract that I never signed up for. I tried calling outside the Xfinity store but after half an hour, I gave up so we could go get lunch. I even left it on the phone call the whole time we drove to Copper Creek before hanging up.

We came home after lunch and I hooked up the cable box (since I couldn't cancel it) to watch the Michigan/Michigan State basketball game and neither one of the boxes would work so I ended up streaming the game. They wonder why I want to cancel it. I'll call them tomorrow and drop everything off after work on Monday.

Went looking for something to watch this evening and settles on the Rig on Netflix. Only a couple episodes in and it's alright, intriguing enough to keep my interest. I'm not sure my wife likes it though.

Sunday (January 8th)

Set my alarm for 8 am. Still didn't get up until after 9. I didn't sleep the whole time between 8 and 9 but enough. Although it's after noon now and I still feel tired. I hate feeling tired, it's how I feel on work days but it needs to be done so I can get some sleep tonight. I can't be up until 2:30 in the morning again and plan on getting up at 3:45, that won't work, at all.

It's been a very blah day, I haven't really been into doing anything. I sat at my desk downstairs for awhile just scrolled through Reddit. I don't know if it's because I have to go back to work or other personal issues but I'm just very down today.

This week - Eating Out

I feel like we are eating out a lot right now. I need to go back to work just to pay for everything. I go back to work on Monday so I'm guessing this will get a lot smaller next week.

Thursday (12/29)

I traveled with some family up to Ann Arbor on Thursday evening and me hit the local Texas Roadhouse. We were on the road for a basketball game at Michigan and we were on a time crunch. We were on the road and still about 40 minutes out and my brother got on the app and put our name in which was great. When we got there, we were the next ones up which was really great because of the time crunch. We got seated, ordered and everything went well, other than I had to eat fast which I hate doing. The food and service was great and I loved that we could check out right at the table, except that I had planned on using cash but since we were in a hurry, I just used the debit card so we could get out quicker.

Friday (12/30)

When I'm home and the wife goes to the Chiropractor, I usually tag along and we go to Culver's afterwards which is right up the road. I generally don't even get out of my PJ's because I sit in the car at the Chiropractor and we hit the drive thru at Culver's and sit in the car and eat in the parking lot, which is what we did.

It's rare for anything bad to happen when we go to Culver's but this time it wasn't the greatest. I still have it a green, but marked an F for food being the issue. We ordered and pulled up to wait for our food. And waited, and waited. That alone is rare but the reason I mentioned it was because when we pulled up, they were bringing food out and cleared a couple of cars. Then nothing. We sat for a good 8-10 minutes before anybody else got any food. That's the rarity because they are usually pretty efficient. I marked the F (stands for food, not a grade) because the fry's weren't their usual crispy self and our cups of cheese were barely warm. I gave them a green still but I don't usually mark down for having to wait because a lot of places just can't get help and that's generally the reason. I'm pretty patient but I like my food to be good as well.

Saturday (12/31)

Picked up Taco Bell on the way home for Cheri. She ordered on the app and I had her get me a Mountain Dew. I pulled up, gave her name and they said they didn't have anymore Sierra Mist (for Cheri) so I changed it to a Mountain Dew. Pulled up and he informed me they ran out of Mountain Dew as well. Had I not already paid for it in the app, I would have just cancelled my drink because I wanted a Dew but since it was already paid, I came home with 2 Pepsi's. They got her food right as in her changes to her Chalupa but they didn't give her the nachos or cheese. The O stands for Out (Mountain Dew & Sierra Mist) and S for shorted (Nachos & Cheese).

Monday (1/2)

We went up to Copper Creek Cafe for some breakfast. Everything was perfect, food was great, service was great. Had a little bit of a wait to sit down but that doesn't bother me as they were pretty busy.

Cheri and I went to Sonic Drive-In for supper. Ordered on the app, pulled into our stall, checked in and the food came pretty quickly which is rare. We usually have to wait awhile there. Food was pretty good and correct so no complaints here.

Tuesday (1/3)

Ordered some Taco Bell and the app and went and picked it up. They redeemed themselves as everything was good. They even put a lot of the extras (lettuce, cheese, tomatoes) in. Everything was correct and they didn't forget anything.

Wednesday (1/4)

Hit the drive-thru at Taco Bell this morning for some breakfast. I ordered the crunch wrap meal and they gave me the box meal which was fine. I would have ordered that had I noticed it before I ordered. Or maybe that is the meal now, who knows. It comes with a side of hash browns that didn't come with the meal before. Everything was great. That's 3 out of the last 4 good. Compared to the 3 out of 5 bad previous to those, they are definitely getting better.

Hit the drive-thru this morning for my wife's breakfast. Her order was all there and good. That's 4 green in a row for McDonalds over the last month or so.

I went in and grabbed a couple of subs for supper. The only reason they got a yellow instead of red was because I wasn't expecting much. I generally don't eat at Subway, I'm not a fan of it. I've only eaten there one other time in the last 2 years but my wife was craving an Italian BMT. I figured I'd try out one of the Signature sandwiches. It looked nothing like the picture, which wasn't a surprise. Both sandwiches were cold and I had them toasted, makes me wonder if he even turned on the toaster oven thingy. The service was good, food sucked. Not surprisingly.

Thursday (1/5)

Sent the kids to pick up from our usual Chinese take-out. It was great, as usual. No complaints at all. We don't usually go there when we're feeding 4 because it's pricey.

Friday (1/6)

Taco Bell again? I know, but Sluggo and I were out and about and it was there. It was another good run though as I gave it all green but with me, all you have to do is give me everything, I didn't have any customizations that the wife usually does. We actually ate in since we were on the road.

Since I ate the above on my way home, when we got home, my wife wanted Taco Bell so I went out and grabbed some for her and it was actually a green as well, even with the customations. That's 4 straight green. I might actually starting to have faith in them again.
