Typing it out

Just a quick post to let you know I haven’t disappeared, entirely.  It’s been a busy week and yet it hasn’t.  Just been doing the usual stuff, Work, Girl Scouts, Work, Boy Scouts, Work and more Scouts.

Trevor had his pinewood derby today, or I guess yesterday since it’s after midnight.  It was pretty good, Trevor looked like he had a blast so it made everything worth while.  But I’ll discuss that later tomorrow (or today).  And I don’t really have anything to talk about now.  To be honest, I’m just kind of typing.  I feel like I have something to say and I hope it’ll just come out.

I guess it’s a good thing I don’t really have a whole lot of people interested in reading this blog so I can do a post about nothing.  Hey, it worked for Seinfeld didn’t it.  And just so you have my stance on Seinfeld, there were some hilarious episodes, but all in all, I didn’t really care for it.  I’ve caught episodes here and there, some awesome (“I WAS IN THE POOL”) and some pretty stupid ones.

Cheri has been struggling with her MS and other crap.  Between the fatigue kicking her ass most days and the pain in her backass, I wonder how she functions.  But she keeps pushing through it, usually for too long.  Today was a little rough on her.  The pinewood derby lasted about 5 hours, including lunch, so we brought her wheelchair in so she could sit somewhat comfortably.  It certainly isn’t comfortable, but better than those chairs they had there.  The worse part for her, I think, was some of the meds had made her sick, she had to go to the restroom because she thought she was going to throw up.  It eventually passed, but it certainly wasn’t fun for her.  She suffered through it like the trooper she is.  Then we get home and her daughter was up to her usual crap.  So basically Cheri dealt with heat and stress, like most days.  I did realize today why it bothers me so much that Skyler walks all over Cheri.  One of the attractions I have towards Cheri when we met was that she didn’t generally take crap from anyone.  She doesn’t go looking for confrontations and will try to avoid them, but she won’t back down from one if brought to her.  I like a woman with some backbone.  So when Skyler talks down to Cheri and Cheri backs down, it tears at my heart some.  Skyler takes advantage of her mom’s condition because Cheri has to avoid stress so she just backs down and in turn, Skyler gets whatever she wants.  She’ll be off to college soon and I guess I’m a bad parent because I’ll be glad when she’s gone.  She’s probably the main stress in Cheri’s life right now.  That and money which seems to be a big stresser lately as well.  But I’m not going into that today either.

I’m also having trouble getting over the fact that Cheri just thinks I like to get Skyler in trouble.  I asked a awhile back if she thinks I care about Skyler or I just like to get her in trouble.  I never got a response, which of course, tells me her response.  I told her if she thinks I won’t be following my own kids and trying to catch them in lies like I did with Skyler, then she doesn’t know me very well.  Because I will be on them like I was her.

So basically I can’t help her with the heat, as much as I would like to control the weather, I can’t.  And I can’t help her with her stress, I only make so much money and she won’t let me help with her daughter.  So for me, caregiver means helping with chores, rubbing her neck and backass and just being here for everything else.  I can’t help with her 2 main stressers.  So I guess I get a fail in the caregiver department.

So what we learned in the last 2 paragraphs is I suck at being a step-father, and I suck at being a caregiver.  Hooray is my life.

I guess I did have something to say.  Good thing my next post is about the pinewood derby, I promise it’ll be more positive than this one.  Maybe I should just go to bed.

Slow day of the Musically Challenged

Are you Jelly?
Today’s craving was?  Jelly Beans.  It must be spring because I was craving some Jelly Beans.  Good thing Easter is rolling around because if this craving doesn’t go away, it’ll be easier to satisfy.

WTF Parents
Have you heard about the huge protest over Nick Jr. because they took some show called “Moose and Zee” off the air.  Me neither, but the blogger over at http://stfuparentsblog.com did a 3 part post on them.  Here, here and here.  These parents are freaking crazy over their electronic babysitter.  I’ve been upset they took a show off the air, but seriously, these people are freaking nuts.  If your kids are that addicted to a TV show, the cancelling of the show is the least of your problems.  My kids have had their shows that they like to watch.  But they have never been so into a show that they even knew what time a it was on, let alone noticed they missed an episode.

Insane in the Membrane
This is starting to become a daily feature.  Which I guess doesn’t surprise me since I’m always getting stuff stuck in my head.  This morning we started off with this.
And I’m free, free fallin’
That’s really all I kept singing.  Over and over.  Tom Petty, all morning long.  Even belted it out a few times, got a few odd looks at work.  But today, I ended up with 3 songs in my head.  And I really have no clue where any of them came from.  The Tom Petty song I think I might have heard on “The Voice” last night.  But the other 2 songs, no idea.  After my first break, this is what I was singing.
sing us a song you're the piano man
sing us a song tonight
well we're all in the mood for a melody
and you got us all feeling alright
Ask Adam, he knows I had it in my head.  When I serenaded him from afar.  I like to sing the old 80’s songs to him because he’s like me and gets them stuck in his head.
And during my “happy time” as Frank likes to call it, I ended up with a 3rd song in my head.  Before I get to the song, I should probably explain my “happy time”.  When I get to work, I’m cranky, I’m tired, and I don’t really talk to anybody.  Then after my first break, I’m awake, more talkative, my usual self.  Then about 11 o’clock, I get really tired and sleepy.  Then after my lunch break, I’m wide awake and it’s my “happy time”.  I’m pumped to get the hell out of work and you can tell.  So back to the song, after break, it’s all about some Hall & Oates.
(Because your kiss) your kiss is on my list
(Because your kiss) your kiss is on my list
Because (your kiss is on my list) of the best things in life
(Because your kiss) your kiss is on my list
(Because your kiss) your kiss I can't resist
(Because your kiss is what I miss) when I turn off the light
Yeah, absolutely no idea where that one came from.  But such Is the life in the head of a musically challenged individual.

Dead, Insane, and MS

I love that title, because it all has to do with MS, but yet it doesn’t.  Continue reading and you’ll see why.

I’ll probably lose all the women readers here but did you see “The Walking Dead” last night.  That is by far my favorite show on TV right now.  And most of the guys I talk to love it.  I have yet to come across someone that said, yeah, I watched it but it wasn’t that good.  Either you haven’t watched it, or you love it.  Now the girls might be a different story.  My wife doesn’t like the gory parts and the first few episodes where they were trying to get out of the city were pretty gory.  But now that it has settled down to more of a drama, I think she likes it.  Not loves it, but she likes it.  My brother called me the other day talking about what he heard about it.  Then this morning I was commenting on a couple of posts on friends walls on Facebook about it.  I couldn’t tell you the last time I did that with a TV show.

Insane in the Membrane

I was reading blogs at work and one of them had mentioned the show “Hell on Wheels” which if you’ve seen it, is a western.  And anytime a western is mentioned, this songs kicks me in the head.

Young Guns PosterI wake up in the mornin'
And I raise my weary head
I got an old coat for a pillow
And the earth was last night's bed
I don't know where I'm goin'
Only God knows where I've been
I'm a devil on the run
A six gun lover
A candle in the wind, yeah

And of course, the chorus.

I'm goin' down in a blaze of glory
Take me now but know the truth
I'm goin' down in a blaze of glory
Lord I never drew first
But I drew first blood
I'm no one's son
Call me young gun

I love that song and I think of western’s because I love “Young Guns” and it’s the main theme song for the movie.  I had that song in my head all morning until I left work.

MS Sucks!!!

Cheri had her day cut out for her.  She had an appointment with her Pain Specialist first thing this morning, then after that appointment, she had to go to two different places to have blood drawn for two different doctors.  I don’t know how she keeps them all apart in her head.  She’ll start talking about a doctor and I usually have to stop her and ask what that particular doctor does.  Pain Specialist, Endo, Neuro, and a couple of more.  I get lost trying to figure out which one she’s talking about.

We had a meeting with a new Neurologist today.  We weren’t happy with our other one, he seemed to want to do what he wanted to do without listening to what we told him.  He was so hooked on what he wanted to do that when we would tell him that it wasn’t working, he didn’t care.  It’ll get better in a couple of week, it’s been freaking 6 months.

MSribbon2We went to a conference or meeting with a local Neurologist who is also a MS specialist.  We both really like her, she listened, she suggested things.  She took time with us, which is a main thing.  She’s going to put Cheri on Copaxone, so as soon as the insurance is cleared and a nurse shows us how to use it, she’ll start it.  Not sure why we need the nurse being we’ve done 4 or 5 different injections already so we pretty much know what we’re doing.  These will be daily so Cheri won’t like that.  I won’t like that, because I hate causing her pain (regardless of what she says) but it has to be done.

I’ve been reading some other MS blogs, patients and caregivers, and I guess I have to feel lucky because right now, she isn’t as bad as a lot of people.  And I can’t imagine these people being in more pain than Cheri is.  She hurts with everything she does, and these other people are even worse than her.  It’s a little scary to know what could happen.  Everybody has MS in different ways so she may not get any worse, but chances are, she’s not going to get any better.  And that’s what scares me the most, the unknown.  We’re doing everything we can to keep her healthy and as active as she can be.  We’ve purchased a wheelchair for those trips to the mall or someplace where we do a lot of walking.  And while I know she absolutely hates being in it, she uses it when she needs to.  We’ve taken it into the schools for functions where she knows the chairs will kick her ass.  So if anything, she’s using it to save her backass.  BTW – Backass is what we call her lower back and upper ass.  That’s where she hurts the most, and all the time.  I rub her anytime she asks and she says it helps, but it certainly doesn’t take the pain away.

So that’s where we are now.  We’ll see what happens with it.  We do a lot of that, wait and see.

Randomness

the EX

I have some bitching to do about theEx, but I’m so tired of her being apart of my life.  And I’m tired of complaining about her.  I’ll just leave it at, I took her weekends away today.  She’s going back to the court appointed every other weekend and 1 evening a week.  I’m tired of fighting with her stupidity and this will give me less time for her to piss me off.  But that’s all I’m going to say about that.

WTF was I Thinking?

I really need to start taking notes throughout the day.  I remember thinking, that would make a good blog post, but by the time I sit in front of the computer, I’ve forgotten what I was going to write about.  Of course, that could just mean that the idea I had wasn’t that good.  So maybe that’s a good thing.

MS Sucks!

My wife had to go lay down today, it’s seeming to become a Sunday theme.  I’m wondering if she’s just getting out of having to meet theEx to get the kids back.  If so, I’m going to start napping so she can go because I don’t want to see her either.  I hate that she has to take naps.  Actually, she hates that she has to take naps.  She fights them all the time, I’m not sure why.  She gets fatigued and she can’t fight it.  She feels bad about having to nap and I think she feels guilty about it but I keep telling her it’s fine.  If that’s what she has to do to keep her body as healthy as it can be, then more power to her.  I know she’s not napping because she’s lazy.  She has no choice.  But as much as I tell her not to fight it, she still does.  Then feels guilty about it.

I understand the MS kicks her ass once in awhile.  I understand on the pain meds kick her ass once in awhile.  She has no reason to feel guilty.  But she does.  I guess that goes towards her character, but if she quits fighting it and lays down she’d feel better quicker.

Random

Been trying to catch up on my blog reading, I have way too many saved but I’ll weed some out as I go along.  I always give it a few posts to see if it’s something I’ll be interested in.  I’m half tempted to ditch the blogs that don’t put the full story on RSS.  I hate having to click to your site to read your post when I should be able to do it right in my reader.  Plus I do a lot of my blog reading at work and the internet there is iffy at best.  So if I have to click onto the internet  to read something, and I have no internet, then I just delete your post.  It’s a simple fix for you, it’s under your settings for your blog.  Make it easy on me, please.

So, my wife and I were at supper last night when I received a picture message from my ex’s husband (the JackAss) with the message, “Which of these are Trevor’s because I found these under his bed.”
pills
Trevor is on Intuniv to help him focus.  When he’s off his meds, there is no listening because is mind is elsewhere.  He truly can’t focus on anything long enough to accomplish anything.  Now theEx believes he doesn’t need to be medicated.  Because she has him for 2 days and doesn’t give them to him so by the time I get him back on Sunday night and give it to him on Monday, he damn near sleeps for 2 days because he doesn’t keep it in his body.  On Monday nights after he hasn’t had any meds over the weekend, well, let me explain it like this.  You know how babies will get so tired that they will fall asleep anywhere, and how they try to fight sleep and just can’t.  That’s what my 7 year old does at the supper table.  He’s literally falling asleep while he eats.  You can see him fighting it, his head drops down and then jerks back up when we wakes.
So regardless on whether she thinks he needs them or not, he needs to be given them to him just to avoid this tiredness in the beginning of the week.  But back to the photo.  Why would he have them under his bed?  Why does he still have pills that he hasn’t taken in over a year?  Where the hell is the parent in this situation?  This is ridiculous.
She complained that she never got to see the kids because she only had them every other weekend.  So I told her she could have them every weekend as long as I got them if I needed them on a weekend.  I also told her anytime she wants them during the week, if she gave me a days notice she could take them.  Which she has done once or twice in the year we’ve been doing it.  So I’ve done everything I can to give her more time with them.  But stupid shit like this makes me want to take them away again.  Legally, I only have to give them to her every other weekend and 1 day during the week.  I don’t want to take the time away from her or from the kids seeing her, but I’m getting so tired of this stupid crap.  If I was the mother, I could probably take away her rights, but being as I’m the father, short of her getting arrested or hooked on drugs, I can’t do a damn thing.  But that’s a whole other story.

Sorry for the bitch fest, but I have to get it out.  On the other side, my wife and I had a pretty good supper at “Cracker Barrel” this evening.  I blame it on “Misty’s Laws”, she posted about the place in her blog and got me craving it.  Regardless, it was a nice evening meal for just Cheri and I.  We don’t usually take the time to have a nice sit down meal.  Kind of a date night, so we enjoyed it for as long as we could.  She was starting to hurt after about 10 minutes in their hard, wooden chairs.  But we still enjoyed the alone time out in public.  We got all dolled up in our sweat pants and hoodies.  Don’t laugh, we actually got out of our pj’s to go out, that’s a step forward.  It’s a shock that we left the house to be honest.  Weekends with no plans usually ends up in us hanging out at home all weekend.

Place in this World

I’ve been trying to find my niche for this blog.  I’ve decided recently to start writing more.  I’ve been searching for other blogs for some inspiration.  I’ve found a bunch of “Mommy” blogs that I’ve started following.  Lord knows, I need help when it comes to parenting and I tend to like the blogs that tell it like it is.  That show the other side of parenting.  That prove there are no specific rules to raising kids.  That other parents are just trying to survive their kids.  Because that’s how I feel at times.  And it’s so nice to know that I’m not the only one lost when it comes to doing it.

The mommy blogs were easy to find, you find one, you find them all. Between their blog roll’s and the awards they like to give each other with rules that you have to plug other blogs. I found a crap load of them in no time. I’ve added some to my blog roll and eventually I’ll add the others. If blogger let’s me that is, I’ve had issues adding my blogs to my blog roll on “My Sports Obsession” so who knows.

I’ve already followed sites that humorous because let’s face it, I love to laugh.  That’s where a lot of the pics and toons that I get for “My Kind of Humor” post.  And I’ve found my niche in the sports and sports cards world with my other blog “MSO”.  But what I would like to find is some father blogs, there has to be some out there.  I’d like to read some posts on parenting and other things from a guys point of view.  I follow a few written by guys, but I would like to find more.

I’d also like to find some “Caregiver” blogs of spouses of MS patients.  I’d like to connect to some other’s that are in my position as well.  While I don’t really consider myself a “caregiver” to my wife, it is a label I have and will probably have to accept more in the future.  I joined a forum and enjoyed it for a little bit, but I would like something like the parenting blogs, where they talk about their experiences.  Where as the MS forum, someone asks a question, a bunch of people answer.  While I find it useful and helpful at times, I would rather follow everyday lives.

So if anybody out there has some suggestions, plug away in my comments section and I’ll check them out.

Took Trevor to Boy Scouts tonight.  I’ll give the Troop leaders credit, there’s no way I could deal with that many kids, let alone, all boys even for just an hour.  I’d be cussing them out in 15 minutes.  SHUT UP AND SIT DOWN!!!   INSIDE VOICES!!!!   AHHHHH!  I would have been pulling my hair out, if I had any left.  Like I said, I give the troop leaders credit.

What I’m curious is why they are immune to that cafeteria.  Because every time I get in there, I start yawning, and can’t stop.  Which of course, makes me tired.  Then I come home tired, it sucks.  We meet at an elementary school so maybe they pump gas in to keep the kids calmer or something.  They need to shut the gas off after hours.  It apparently doesn’t work on the kids anyways and why would you want to put the parents asleep.  We all snore and drool, it would be a bigger mess for the maintenance crew in the morning if they zonk us out.

Tomorrow is Friday, the kids will be going to their mother’s after school.  Samantha is supposed to have a Girl Scouts thing on Sunday.  They are just getting together at the local mall and taking kind of an aerial view of all the Girl Scouts in the shape of a leaf (GS logo).  You’ll be able to spot my daughter in the photograph, she’ll be the one with the greasy hair since she doesn’t shower enough at her mom’s.  She’s supposed to wear a green shirt as well so I won’t be surprised if she doesn’t have that on.

I could never take the kids away from their mother, but there are a lot of times I wish I could.  I don’t worry about the kids safety with her.  But I don’t trust her to “do the right thing”.  In the end, it will hurt her relationship with the kids.  And while I look forward to that, I don’t look forward to dealing with the aftermath, the kids emotions when they figure it out.

Until then, I will enjoy my weekends kids free.  I love my kids, but it’s nice to have the place to ourselves.  And it usually is to ourselves since Skyler is usually running around with her friends.  Cheri and I will be kicking it here, we are both homebodies, we love to just sit around and veg.

My stripper daughter

Last night, I did my weekly Monday night and spent an hour with my daughter at Girl Scouts.  I sat down with a couple of the other mom’s and declared our table the Mom Table.  Then I had to argue with my daughter that for the next hour, I was her mother.  She said I didn’t have enough hair to be a mother.  Smart ass, I don’t know where she gets that.

Anyways, I usually enjoy my Girl Scout night as opposed to the Boy Scout night because I enjoy hanging with the mother’s.  We all get together and bash our ex’s.  Boy Scout night, most of the father’s sit at different tables by themselves so I usually end up playing around on my phone.  I took my Kindle once and got the Wifi password from one of the kids but apparently the school shuts the Wifi off at night, so I’m stuck with the phone.  I’d much rather bash the ex’s like one of the girls.  It’s the one night I get to let my hair down and hang out with my girlfriends.  Sorry, got back into Girl Scouts night and thought I was a mom.

The funniest part of the evening was on the way home.  I don’t remember what we were talking about but my 9 year old daughter told me she wanted to be a pole dancer.

“Uh what?”

“Yeah”, she says, “so does my brother.”

“WHAT?”

“What exactly do you think a pole dancer does?”

“They dance, with a pole”

“That’s not quite all they do honey”

“What else do they do?”

“Well, they generally take their clothes off for money”

“What?”  Apparently it’s her turn to be confused.  “Why would they take their clothes off for money?”

“Because some people will pay to see you naked”

“That’s disgusting”

“Well now you understand my concern with you being a pole dancer”

“I don’t want to be a pole dancer”

“That’s good, I don’t want you to be one either.”

Now I’m sure there is pole dancing that doesn’t involve stripping for money, but that’s the first thing that comes to mind and I don’t really want her going to school and say “My dad said I could be a pole dancer”  I know, some of you probably think I gave too much information.  But, the way the world is nowadays, I would rather have her learn this stuff from me than some kid on the playground.  So while I do try to keep her finding out this stuff, I don’t really lie to her.  If it’s something I really want to avoid then that’s exactly what I do, I avoid it.  But it has to be something that I think she won’t have to really deal with for years to come.  I’m already pretty sure I’ll have to give her the “period” talk considering when I met her mother, I had to explain to her why she bleed once a moth.  And yes, she was 20 years old when I had that conversation with her.  See what I deal with?

Am I or I am, lucky?

I need some help here.  We had theEx pick up the kids from school on Friday.  So when I got the kids back tonight, the kids had forgotten their backpacks.  I told theEx that she needs to go back home and bring their backpacks to my place before school in the morning.  Fair enough, right?  She forgot them, she can bring them back to my place.

First it was, I don’t have enough gas to bring them back.  Which, I understand with gas prices that they are.  But this has been her excuse ever since she was made to pay child support.  You know, the whopping $30/week that I get for 2 kids.  I told her I didn’t care, the kids need their backpacks for school tomorrow morning, they need to be there before my wife takes them to school.

After I get home and start getting the kids into bed, I get a text that says “It’s not my fault the kids forgot their backpacks.  Lucky for you Jodi is coming over and we are taking her car out to your place tonight.  Otherwise I was going to have to meet at the market because I have less that a quarter of a tank.”  I was nice enough to capitalize and fix spelling for you, your welcome.  So let me get this straight, I’m lucky.  Are you serious?  How about your kids are lucky that they have a mother that cares enough to get their school stuff back to them.  OH WAIT! I shouldn’t use cares, because it’s not about the kids.  What’s worse, is she tried to blame the kids saying it was their responsibility.  While I do agree with that, she is the one who has no rules and teaches no responsibility.  But now all of the sudden, they are supposed to be responsible at your house.  They are 7 and 9, so regardless of it being their responsibility, it’s your responsibility to makes sure they are doing what they are responsible for.  Am I wrong on this?  Should I be upset at the kids for forgetting?  Because let’s face it, it’s much more fun to be angry at her.

So for all of you single mothers out there, that hate the fact that the father to your children are useless.  Not all fathers are.  Nor or all mother’s the “good” parent.  I’m the one who has rules, teaching them hygiene, has them on a regular schedule.  I’m the one who helps with homework.  I’m the one who signed them up with Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and little league.  I’m the one who takes them every Monday and Thursday to scouts.  I’m the one that helps coach both kids baseball teams.  I am the one teaching them responsibility.  I’m the one that does the parent/teacher conferences.  I’m the one that drives them to and from their friends houses during the week.  And you know what, I AM LUCKY.  Because I’ve got 2 great kids, that hopefully won’t get too screwed up by their mother.  But she does pay child support, apparently that’s enough to make her a good mother in her eyes.

My kind of humor

Once in awhile, I’ll throw out a page of humor.  Stuff I’ve come across on the internet that I find funny.  I warn you though, my humor can sometimes be a little out there.

Here we go.

Genetic Disaster

For those that don’t know, my wife has MS.  What most people don’t know about MS is it comes and goes, or at least the symptoms do.  She can go a long time without feeling anything and then BAM! it knocks her on her ass.  But what seems to be more of an issue, is my wife can’t just sit her ass down and take it easy until the symptoms pass.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad she doesn’t let the MS get the best of her.  And she doesn’t let it stop her.  But on the other hand, I see how much pain she’s in when she does decide to take it easy.  Of course, for her, taking it easy is only doing the laundry and straightening up instead of everybody else’s taking it easy of sitting on their ass and doing nothing.  I respect her for pushing it and giving the disease a big “FU” but I hate seeing her in pain.

If you don’t know what MS (Multiple Sclerosis) is, the best way I’ve had it described to me is that she has lesions on her brain, multiple, if I remember correctly 15 of them.  And for the most part, they are just there.  But what they do is block her brain from sending signals to the rest of her body.  For instance, when she takes a shower, the lesions block the signal to the rest of her body to cool down.  She comes out of the shower and starts to sweat where as the rest of us start to cool down.  That is a daily symptom that she deals with.  Actually take the time to think about that, think about how warm your body is when you get out of that hot shower.  Now think about staying that hot, while your trying to get dressed or doing your hair.  There’s days where she gets out of the shower, turns on the fan and lays in bed just to cool down.  So you can understand why she hates to take showers.

Her “flare up” that she is dealing with now is her legs.  They are just weak.  She explains it as her legs feel like the day after she just worked out for the first time.  Or for me that would be the way I felt a few months ago after my brother talked me into playing basketball again.  My legs were dead for the next week.  But at least I did it to myself.  She has no choice.  Yesterday she went shopping with her sister.  I love when she does things with her sisters because she has such a good time and for 20 years, she hardly saw them so she loves spending time with them and really enjoys seeing her niece’s and nephew’s.  But all the time away from just sitting and relaxing in her recliner has kicked her ass.  I don’t want her not to go because it’s a good time and she gets away from home for a day, but on the other hand, I don’t want her to be in more pain.

Of course, her being in pain is relative.  She’s always in pain.  Just because the MS flare’s up doesn’t mean she isn’t in pain all the time.  Along with the MS, she has fibromyalgia, hashimoto’s disease, diabete’s and arthritis in her lower spine.  I’ve linked all those to the symptoms of each disease.  Every one of those has fatigue listed.  Fibromyalgia is essentially pain everywhere.  There is no cure, there is only pain management.  So she is on a wide range of drugs to help with the pain.  Which all have their side effects, that she takes more drugs for.  So as you can see, it is a vicious circle.

So to break it all down, as her daughter calls her, she’s a genetic disaster.  But with all these issues, she still gets my kids up and to and from school, takes care of the housework and has supper on the table most days.  She is a marvel and is amazing.  She takes care of everyone through all of it.  Sure she has her issues, she can be moody and short.  But knowing all she does for everyone, I look past it.  I just wish the kids could see all she does for them and understand why she gets that way.  That includes her 16 year old who takes advantage of her on a daily basis.

I guess I kind of went off of what I was originally planning on talking about.  Hopefully you got something out of this.  I guess by posting this, when I bitch about her mood’s, you all can look down on me for it instead of her.

I know I promised some humor.  But I usually like to post 5 toons or pics and I only have 4.  I will look for another one today and maybe post them tomorrow.
