Weekly Catch-Up

I don’t really have anything to say.  It’s been a nice, lazy weekend.  I’ve been working on putting out posts on My Sports Obsession because I was getting low.  I can bust out a bunch at once on that blog and then just publish one a day without having to put much efforts over there as I do here.  Sometimes I’ll have a few already set up for this blog, but that’s rare.  I didn’t work this weekend which means next week is my 5 12 hour days so I wouldn’t expect to much out of me this week as well.  I have Wednesday and Thursday off but I’m usually so tired from the 12 hour days that I tend to sleep half my days away when I have them off.  But since I have nothing for today, your going to get a Weekly Catch-up just because I haven’t done one in forever.

I posted this status after watching one of Trevor’s classmates climb into the front seat of a vehicle while picking the kids up from school.  I’ve seen kids younger climb up there as well.  Trevor is only 8 and all the warning labels on my car say they should be at least 13 to sit in the front seat with an air bag.  I know I’m not the only parent that feels this way but I’m amazed at all the ones that don’t.  I know I never would forgive myself if I lost my kid in a minor crash and my airbag killed my kid because I was too lazy to tell them no, they had to sit in the back.

I updated my cover photo.  I thought it was fitting.  But considering most of the people, actually, all but maybe 3 or 4 don’t even read my blog, it didn’t last too long.

I couldn’t get this video to post on my blog so I screen capped it and linked it to the video on YouTube so click it and go check out this prank.  It’s in a foreign language but you don’t need to know what they are saying to laugh.

December 1st, I can officially start with Christmas stuff.  So I changed my profile picture to this.  I believe I used it last year in December as well.

I picked up Samantha and her friend from a Girl Scouts trip and I let them pick the music off my spotify.  They chose Taylor Swift so I drove while they sang along, more or less.  I even heard Samantha tell her friend that they could sing out loud because daddy can ignore us.  They are referring to when Cheri is in the car, she has trouble ignoring noise around her.  She doesn’t allow them to sing out loud.

Told you my cover photo didn’t last long.  You can never go wrong with a zombie cover photo.

Guess you need these to posted since I can get my Twitter widget off to the side to work.  Anything I posted on Facebook and Twitter I won’t repost again.  Just whatever you haven’t seen.

You didn’t live in the 90’s if you hadn’t heard those songs.  Actually, she lived in the 90’s and I skipped it, but somehow I knew the songs and she didn’t.

I retweeted this from Men’s Humor, they are great for humor but they do throw a good one out there every so often.  But this one was fitting because that’s why I wear my headphones when I’m standing in the line to clock out at the end of the day.

Pretty sure most of you will recognize who’s account this is since it’s a fellow blogger.  Brett does “the Transformed Non-Conformist" blog.  I liked this, because I never get up to get the remote.  For instance, today, it was over by Cheri’s chair and I didn’t want to get up to change the channel.  So I grabbed my phone and used the Xfinity app and changed it with that.

This was tweeted today after the Colts pulled out a great win against the Lions.  Detroit played very well and the Colts floundered the whole 2nd half but managed a come from behind with less than a minute left.  I’d like to see where Andrew Luck will take us in the next few years.

This is hilarious.  If you follow the NFL, you’ll get it.  If not, your loss.

The picture on the left is a picture of the donut that Frank brought me.  I put the calculator in it just so you could see the size of it.  Frank brings me one of these every week because I help him out after he goes home and run a little bit of his job till I leave.  It’s filled with lemon filling and my shirt is usually covered in the powdered sugar by the time I finish it.  The picture on the right is obviously our Kitty.  She wakes us up when the sun comes out so we can open the blinds and she can get up there and look outside while we sleep.  She can be a pain in the ass in the morning.

Short week at work so I haven’t finished any others, been working on this one all week.  I’m 52% done now, but I’m guessing I’ll be done by the end of the week since I go back to work tomorrow.

To see what I’m doing, go check out the first part of this post
Currently listening to – All Items (760 tracks) – Artist with the most songs left (Petra – 31 tracks)
Currently transferring to – All Items 2 (188 tracks) – Artist with the most songs removed (Say What? – 9 tracks)
Total songs (948 tracks)
The reason Say What? has more tracks in the All Items 2 list is because I added them to the list after this started.  Any new songs I add to the list of already listened to songs, that way they don’t get an unfair advantage of not having to be listed in the beginning rounds.  Petra is actually in the lead of removed songs as well with 8 tracks.  I have a lot of theirs so I’m guessing they’ll lead for awhile.

  1. Holy Moley! That's a lot of stuff! And most of it's actually fun, too (which isn't always the case when folks do a post of this sort, so I hope that doesn't come off as damning with faint praise.) Anyway, you have succeeded in killing off a goodly portion of my afternoon here at work and I thank you :-)
