Another week with no posts

I guess I'm back to my not posting very often. So at least for now, you'll get these on Sundays.

Day 75, Oconomowoc, WI (235.9 Miles)
I am still keeping track of my steps and mileage on Google Maps, I just haven't posted it here in awhile. Right now I'm in the middle of a couple of fields in Wisconsin. As of right now, I'm touring all the MLB stadiums with other stops along the way. Of course, there aren't very many around here. I was planning on going walking today, it was supposed to be sunny and in the 50's but it hasn't turned out that way. I'm really going to have to walk my ass off this summer just to get caught up to my 8,000 steps a day goal. I'd hate to see how many steps I'm behind. Let's find out, give me just a second and I'll do some math. I'm 113,161 steps behind. I've been averaging around that 8,000 a day on work days but the weekends have been bad. Next week I'm working overtime so that will help. We'll see where I'm at after this summer and the weather is better. If I walk 2 miles after work it only takes 2 days to make up one weekend day so I can definitely make up the steps, now just getting the weather to cooperate.

Remember when I said I was trying to tweet more? Yeah, sorry. It's also March Madness time so, yeah, sorry again.

We like both shows so what's not to like.

Like I said, it's March Madness.

See, I don't hate everyone. I do like underdogs, to bad they couldn't get their first win though. Plus they are Big Ten, I root for them all at this time of the year.

We are coming down to the final 3 episodes of the season and I can't wait. The group is (hopefully) going to rise up and fight Negan.

It's true, I can't wait until Sunday to watch it but afterwards, I'm usually heading for bed and starting my work week.

I swear the stupid thing never works. It'll either jump 2 spots when you push the down button which blows right past the Playlist button or it just won't load any of the Playlists if you did get it.

I love baseball.

I was heading into work and had already clocked in and walked through one department and just had the feeling that it was down, I don't know if it was drafty or what but I just happen to reach down and sure enough, I never zipped up my fly that morning. At least I noticed.

She does this, especially this time of the year (Easter) because they are easier to find. I then take the black ones to work and give it to a fellow jelly bean lover there.

Didn't need the tissues at all. It wasn't as dramatic as they set it up to be. Still a great show though.

I do these occasionally, this was a retweet.

Like I said last week, I hear it all the time.

That would be my wife, in case you couldn't figure that out. She was on her way to meet our oldest daughter and brought me some breakfast. I just wish she would do it without me asking. If I don't mention it the night before, it won't happen.

I really felt naked without because I pretty much have it on all the time. I only take it off to shower and sleep. It sucked because I felt like I had a pretty good day. I gave myself 8,000 steps, which is what I want to average but to be honest, I think I probably had more than that.

March Madness again.

That was Friday night before bed. I have since loaded up my Tumblr accounts so they are good for a little bit. I save stuff throughout the week and then tend to queue a bunch over the weekend to post throughout the week.

She listens to hard rock now but I had to introduce her to one of the greats from back when I was jamming out to rock n roll. She did know some about half the songs that I played her and I played probably 10 or 12 tracks.

I record all their games and then usually only watch the ones they win but since it's Spring Training and the winning doesn't really matter, I watch them all. Plus, I'm just so ready to start watching baseball again I just had to watch.

I finished Whispers of the Dead and gave it 4 stars, I started Peace Warrior on Friday so I haven't gotten very far yet.

Playing Catch Up

I haven't had to much to say lately (I know, again?) so I figured I'd give a little run down of what all I've been doing on social media. Don't worry, I won't get into all the sports blogs that I do but if you do want to check those out, you can go to the new Where Am I page listed above.

This was posted on my Random Thoughts blog page on Facebook.

I didn't post much on there this week, that was all you get, but I like to make fun of those with allergies, maybe because I don't suffer from them. I just can't breathe period.

I've been making an effort to tweet more. I usually come up with something to tweet at work but it takes to much effort because the service is so bad inside the building. So I set it up to be able to text statuses in so that will help out. The first couple I tweeted by text were going to the wrong account though so I had to change that.

Samantha, her friend and I went to see Logan last Sunday. Great movie, it was hard seeing Wolverine all worn down but it was great story to end on. I keep track of the movies I've seen on Letterboxd and I also tweet them now. The link is to my profile page.

If you haven't seen the show I recommend it. They go into a haunted place, one is an investigator and he goes in during the day and interviews the family and does background on the house and property. Then at night, a psychic or whatever you want to call them goes in and she can see ghosts. The don't meet up at all until the end when they get together with the family and compare notes.

Yeah, that happened. We ended up having to watch the end of the Walking Dead the next day off of the On Demand, same with the whole episode of the Talking Dead.

Tuesday is a popular night for our shows. Actually, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are all busy nights for the DVR. We usually get caught up by the time Sunday night rolls around.

It was nice out on Monday and Tuesday and I took the dog for a 2 mile walk after work. Then it got cold and the walks went bye bye.

True story.

Both of these places have had the same signs as long as I can remember then all of the sudden, they both get new signs and they are both the same design of signs.

I finished a book and started another this week. I only read during my breaks at work so I don't get through a ton of books but I have set a goal of 50 books this year. Last years was 45 and I just surpassed it so I upped it for this year.

I finished Beckoning Souls and gave it 4 stars and I started Whispers of the Dead.

I figured I'd run down the songs that I posted on my Last Song of the Day blog.

Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aguilera

Evil Woman by Electric Light Orchestra

Born 2 Run by 7Lions

Riot by Three Days Grace

Angel of Mine by Monica

Bad Company by Bad Company

What's My Age Again by Blink-182

I really enjoy this music blog. Even though I don't really post a lot about the songs themselves, I love the mix of music that goes into it. I now have 225 songs listed by 181 different artists spanning 19 different genres.

Last but not least, my Fitbit stats for the week.

As I said, Monday and Tuesday I walked after work so you can see why those days got so many more steps.

I made it to my 3rd ballpark

I've been walking a little more, even if I haven't been posting about it. I'm trying to stay motivated to do so but it doesn't always happen. The last couple of days it's been in the 60's and I got out and walked after work for a couple of miles. Today, it dropped to the 50's, which wasn't bad, but it was windy as hell which dropped the realfeel temperature way below that. We were supposed to get gusts over 60 mph so I decided to nix the walk.

I was a little bummed because I had over 12,000 steps the last couple of days and it's supposed to be a lot colder the rest of the week. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I've debated on being a mall walker on the cold days but none of them are all that close.

Day 63, Milwaukee, WI (204.1 Miles)
I made it past my 3rd ballpark yesterday. Miller Park in Milwaukee. I'll be heading to the next one tomorrow.

An aeriel view of the ballpark. It's supposed to be a very nice ballpark and I would love to actually see a game there at some time. This would have been my view though.

Good movie, not so good weight

I complained about having motivation, well I got some today. I've noticed that I feel bigger plus my wife has mentioned that I look bigger. I really noticed that in the mornings at work, before I eat, that I had already felt bloated, which I normally feel after I eat. So I decided to take the plunge and got on our industrial scale. It's probably a good thing it's an industrial scale because I might have broken one of those little bathroom scales.

Good movie, not so good weight.
I used to sit right around 275 lbs. I wasn't happy with it, but I was okay with it. I am 6'3" so while I consider myself fat, I'm not completely round, yet. After getting on the scale and noticing just how close I was getting to 300 lbs, consider myself motivated. It was a tad chilly when I got off work to go walking. Not to mention rainy, which has now turned to snow, that should tell you how cold it is. I've been trying to think of things to do. I would love to shoot basketball again, I love playing but just don't get the opportunity to do so very often. Maybe this spring when it warms up, I'll run down to the local school and shoot some hoops. Obviously I'll probably start walking more often after work and I really need to on the weekends. I've even thought about running to the mall after work and maybe do a little walking there while it's cold out. We'll see, I just know I need to do something because I am the heaviest I've ever been.

I've considered changing my eating habits, for about 20 seconds. I like food to much, I'd rather exercise.

Day 57. Wind Point, WI (177.7 Miles)
As you can see, I crossed over into Wisconsin a few days ago. I haven't come across anything real exciting to show you so I haven't really been posting but I am still keeping track. It's been my usual walking 6500+ steps during work days and lucky to get 1000 on non-work days.
