The wife and I rented a few movies from Redbox for last weekend.
Last Vegas – Redbox DVD
I was expecting more of an all out comedy and this wasn’t it but it was funny and it ended up being a pretty good movie. I like all the actors in it so it wasn’t too hard to like as well. Cheri also gave it a thumbs up.

Apartment 1303 – Redbox DVD
Not to much to say, acting wasn’t great, the story was ok but wasn’t all that original. It was a little less than a hour and a half. The story didn’t really go anywhere, you didn’t really get a chance to know much about any of the characters. The mother character just didn’t really have anything to do with the story.

Captain Phillips – Redbox DVD
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this one. I heard it was good but I really knew nothing about the story other than it was based on a true story. They were right, it was a really good movie. Cheri and I both were anxious during this movie waiting to see what happens next. This was really well done and for the pirates have never acted before (Cheri googled), did a great job. We both definitely recommend this one.

I try not to go into the storyline too much on my reviews because I hate when reviews are spoilers.
After being attacked by a vampire, she agrees to spend the week with him in order to save her daughter’s life. But what she finds out and tries to become to save her daughters life and possibly her own, might be more than she bargained for.
This was a pretty good read and held my attention. Enough detail to keep you wandering what’s going to happen. It was a different story than most vampire books and I enjoyed that about it. I gave it 4 stars on Goodreads.
