A Week in the Life of Me

Not too much going on so this may be a quick post, it may not, once I get typing, you never know.

We watched the season finale of the Mandalorian yesterday and it was pretty awesome. I hope Disney does just as well with their other Star Wars shows they plan on putting out. I don't want to spoil it but the ending of the finale was so cool, and was such a good ending. I can't wait to see what the next season entails.

We're in the middle of the final season of Homeland. They finally put it on Hulu with the rest of the seasons. We may even finish that this weekend. Other than that, a lot of the other stuff we watch is on winter hiatus. None of my sports teams are even on for another week, Christmas day at that.

At work, we finished a 5S project that we've spent the last month working on. I got volunteered for the the project, I think, because we were doing the battery/chemical storage room and the majority of the chemicals in that room are mine. We got all kinds of compliments about how great it looked now. We'll see how long it stays that way.

I'm officially a 5S Champion now.

We we're supposed to meet every day for half an hour and work on the room and there was originally supposed to be 4 of us but the team member from one department quit right away. Another department's guy would show up every day, 10 to 15 minutes late and than leave right at the end of the half an hour. Me and another guy would be there almost an hour a day working on it. On Friday, the day of recognition, where they brought in management to see what we did, the late guy was there before me and I'm always early. Pissed me off but I didn't say anything, I just look like the asshole if I do.

I guess where I work is changing their logo so now I'm going to have a lot of clothes that are outdated. That's alright, because other than a couple of hoodies, everything with their logo on it I wear to work anyways. I've accumulated quite a few things with their logo in the 6 1/2 years I've been there. The basic shirt is the logo on the front top left and the core values on the back. I have 5 gray ones and 3 black ones of that. I have a red volunteer shirt, a green company picnic one and 2 black breast cancer ones. I also have 2 hoodies that I love, because they fit great and are so comfortable. I wear one back and forth to work in the winter and the other I wear around the house (I have it on now). All that doesn't include the keychain, backpack and multiple hats. The nicest thing about having all those is I didn't pay anything for them, they were all given to me so I can't complain about that. Next week is the last week before Christmas so I'm curious if they'll give us something else. The last 3 years were the hoodies and last year was a hat. With the way this year has gone though it wouldn't surprise me if we didn't get anything but they did go around asking everyone their shirt size awhile back so we'll see.

As busy as we are this year, we didn't get our usual 2 weeks off at Christmas but I had enough time saved up to take the last week off so after the 3 days this week, I'll be done until the first week of January. I have no plans but it'll be nice not having to go to work.

Not sure what I'm going to watch with all that time off but I'm sure we can find something.

Santa came to work on Friday.

So far the plan is we are still getting together for Christmas. We didn't get together for Thanksgiving with all the Covid outbreaks but it's been relatively quite lately. I was even worried about going on Thanksgiving just because a ton of people at work were coming down with it and I didn't want to bring it in to everyone. Of course it didn't end up mattering since the majority of my family have gotten it. Nobody in my household or my mom's household has but a lot of the extended family has.

December 14th (2020)

My wife sent this photo of her and the cat. Kitty doesn't usually allow us to hold her for very long anymore.

December 15th (2012)

This is my oldest daughter holding Kitty back in 2012, I would say she's probably the reason Kitty doesn't like to be held but I don't really remember her ever liking it.

December 16th (2011)

This was taken back in 2011, my youngest son was into Lego's big time and they had a Lego thingy outside Chicago and we took him up there. He absolutely loved it. He wasn't even into Star Wars when I made him take this but he is now so it worked out.

December 18th (2009)

My wife (back then my girlfriend) sent this to me. We started dating long distance so this is what we did. We were young(er) and in love, we were probably nauseating to most.

December 18th (2019)

I snapped this in a meeting last year, it's how much my work paid out in workers comp claims. Notice the biggest number in the orange, oops. That's from when I burned myself with Sulfuric acid. Nothing like getting called out in a meeting you're sitting in.

December 20th (2019)

Me and Santa at work last year. I think he grew this year. I looked a little "special" in this photo.

I'll probably post again next week since I have time off so I'll talk to you all then.

Sunday Thoughts

You can see above about when I got up. Which isn't great because I probably will have trouble going to sleep tonight which means 4:45 am is going to come awfully early tomorrow morning.

I have no plans today, sit on my laptop and not do a damn thing. Cheri left not long after that photo was taken above to meet our oldest daughter in Indianapolis so it's just me and the kids. I'm sure they'll play video games most of the day but I don't have any extra money this week to go do anything. I do have some plans Tuesday that will take a little cash so I have to save what little I do have. Right now, I'm in my recliner, on my Chromebook and listening to my playlist.

I was going to mention this yesterday but I forgot. I keep track of who I listen to as far as music go, I do this for my stats as well as my Last Song of the Day blog. Last month, Taylor Swift was my most listened to artist. Why? Well because she released a new album and my wife if obsessed with her and will listen to it over and over for a few months. I get stuck in her car occasionally and she plays it.  Yesterday, we went shopping and once again, I got stuck in her car again. So guess who has a huge lead in this month's list? Cheri can't stand the type of music that Taylor plays now (Pop) other than a few songs but because it's T-Swift, she loves the album. I don't get it. I did add some of the songs on my playlist because a few of them weren't bad but to listen to that album over and over, I'll pass. I might have to start carrying headphones with me.

Day 378 - Friend, NE (1218.1 miles)

Since there is nothing going on today and usually most Sundays, I thought I would give a minor update on my steps for the year on Sundays.

You can see above that I'm still in Nebraska but I am heading West for the mountains. Good think I'm not actually walking in the mountains, I'd be dead. Here's some stats so far this year.

Goal = 1500 miles (4.1 miles/day)
Currently = 39.33 (3.02 miles/day)

That's not going so well. The 1500 miles a day goal is rounded up from 8,000 steps a day but because I've had more days off work than normal, I'm still quite a bit lower. A couple of Mondays off because of New Years and a court date as well as I have only worked one weekend so far, also because of the holidays. I generally average around 8,000 on work days so it'll be a matter of making up for my lazy weekends which in most cases will only be Sundays because I generally work most Saturdays. I imagine the miles per day will gradually go up as it gets warmer as well with home projects, mowing the lawn, ect. I won't be quite as lazy. Who knows, maybe I'll get out and walk the neighborhood occasionally.

After blogging the first half of this post, I took a break and got around to putting away the cards I've picked up the last couple of months. I tend to let them stack up until I get around to putting them all away. They are out of sight, so the wife doesn't usually complain but the drawer I keep them in was getting full.

I don't remember what she did to be a pain in the ass. We ended up hooking the Wii up because I had brought it up from downstairs. Cheri and I have talked about doing the yoga and stuff on the Wii Fit. We used to do it a few years ago and we both felt better, had a little more mobility so we thought we might try it again. Samantha and I got it set up and ended up doing a the balance games before starting to do the games. Trevor joined in after awhile and we ended up being on it until Cheri got home.

Arthritis update and we're becoming an animal household

It's been almost a month since I posted about my arthritis and in that month, my knees have hurt 1 other time. So as bad as it hurt for that few days, if it's even arthritis, it's apparently not that bad. If I had to be honest, as much as my body aches, when I've played softball, my legs have felt pretty good. As a matter of fact, last week I was 3 for 3 with a single and 2 doubles. Even stretching out the doubles my legs didn't hurt. Last year, I could barely run to 1st without being in pain. This year, I sprinted out a triple and my legs felt good. I certainly don't think I'm in better shape, I'm still pretty round, but my legs seem to be doing a lot better. I get really achy, for the most part, when I've been sitting on my ass for to long and then get up. The cat loves to sit on my lap because I will sit for a good 3 or 4 hours without getting up but oh my god, can I feel it when I do. I'm guessing since I'm a homeowner now that mowing the lawn every week is probably a good exercise that I wasn't doing before as well.

Speaking of the home, the really good news is Cheri has been getting out and about and doing the outside of the house. She has been planting flowers, painting, putting down bark, shoveling, ect. Except this week because it's been ungodly hot. The great news is even with all that activity, the only real soreness is muscle soreness and not her bad back or the Fibromyalgia. So it's been good exercise for her as well.

We are dogsitting our granddog this week and maybe longer. To be honest, we're not sure how long he'll be here as our daughter is between places for a few weeks but we also know how much she hates being without the dog so I have a feeling, she'll end up on our doorstep sooner or later.

Having a dog here reminds me why I'm a cat person or I should say, why my wife is a cat person because Milo (the dog) is up her ass. Every time she gets up to do something the dog follows. Right now, she's in the kitchen trying to cook supper and he tries to sit between her and the stove. So needy. Cats, they want nothing to do with you most of the time. You can get up and go to the bathroom, come back and the cat hasn't moved. Don't even get me started on getting up to let him out and let him back in. Milo loves to go outside at night and run around for an hour and then come in. You'll be cool because you think he probably wore himself out but no, 5 minutes later, he wants to go out again. He does this constantly once it gets dark. A pain in the ass.

Example. Right now my wife is cooking. Here's the dog.

and here's the cat.

I won't even get to the phone calls I get from my mom and brother, "Can you go let our dogs out?" Cats, leave them some food out and they are good all weekend.

Don't get me wrong, I love dogs. I love that you can rough house with them and they are truly mans best friend. More obedient, easier to train, ect. but I'm lazy, and I like my house not smelling like dog. Especially wet dog because they still have to use the potty even when it's bad weather.

Journal, August 8th

4:00 pm

Ok day at work, started off slow because one of the lines was down for half the day, it was better once it came back up.  When I only have 1 line to contend with, I have to find things to do just to stay busy

Cheri went over to her sisters today who lives about an hour away so I’m just going to hang online and listen to some music until she gets home.  It’s relaxing except for a certain cat who likes to hog my lap.

2014-08-08 15.58.42

6:30 pm

Been listening to the neighbors bass line on their damn stereo again for the last half an hour and it’s still going.  It was real good for awhile now, but the last 3 weekends we’ve had to listen to it.  Or I should say, I have.  Cheri was napping the first time and she’s not here yet tonight.  She’s the one that pounds on the wall but they have been just pounding back.  I guess I’ll be heading to the office tomorrow morning.  They always turn it on during off hours for the office.  That tells me they know it’s too loud if they wait for the office people to leave.  It only bothers me because it’s rude, I can ignore it somewhat, but Cheri suffers from migraines and bass certainly doesn’t help that and think about it, listen to a song with bass, but only listen to the bass.  It’s literally, the same beat, over and over and over.  The bass is all we can hear so the stereo isn’t even that loud, it’s just their bass is turned up too high.  We’ve told them that before, volume is fine, turn down the bass.  Considering they park in the handicap spots in front of our building, they obviously don’t care about anyone else.

11:00 pm

I didn’t do much blog wise.  I went through a little bit of Feedly and I got some of my cards out to work on them but I got bored with that pretty quick.  I just wasn’t in the mood to do much.  Typical Friday night I guess.  No plans of yet for tomorrow, but Cheri didn’t mention a movie since I’ve been making fun of her all night saying she didn’t want to see “Guardians of the Galaxy” with me.  We’re heading to bed now so we’ll see what we do tomorrow.

What I clicked on to read today.  I read all kinds of things in my Feedly, but these I found in other places or a link in Feedly.

  1. New vaccines required for Indiana students. (via email) – Just checking if my kids are going to need more.
  2. Brian Kelly arrived at Notre Dame practice on a horse. (via Facebook) – He should have been on a donkey.
  3. Police blotter. (via Facebook) – The local police blotter
  4. 5 reasons to have sex with your husband every night. (via Facebook) – Always looking for reasons.
  5. Website that you can search what songs are in commercials. (via FuckingHomePage.com) – I hear songs all the time in commercials and wonder what they are.
  6. Michigan hated by impressive amount of states. (via Feedly) – Some states hate us and I have no idea why.  Illinois, Indiana and Ohio I can understand, but Nevada, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Delaware?
  7. Bad Robot’s C3PED Crusader. (via Feedly) – A Star Wars/Batman mashup pic released by Bad Robot.
  8. Man annoyed by parenting at Burger King takes action. (via Facebook) – Hilarious!

Check out them all – Random Thoughts from a Random Guy, My Sports Obsession, My Sports Obsession TumblrMy Sports Obsession – Wolverines, My Sports Obsession – Index, A Day in the Life of a Nobody,My Life (private), and Cats Are Cuter.  I also post on Too Many Manninghams.

Here’s a listing of all the new (to us) episodes that we watched tonight.

  • Married (DVR) – Wasn’t really a very good episode.  Kind of stupid.
  • the Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon (DVR) – Main guest was Will Arnett.  He’s on for the TMNT’s movies but we like him on the Millers.
  • Partners (DVR) – It was ok, still not completely sold on this show.
  • Dominion (DVR) – This one is growing on me, I think it was already the season finale and I hope they pick it up for another season.

Our Kitty cat

month10-15

Our cat, while is absolutely adorable, is also retarded.  She’s your typical cat, she sleeps around, a lot.  Loves to sleep in the sun or cuddle with Cheri or I.  She sleeps with us at night, usually up by Cheri’s head or down by my feet.  She’ll lay with Cheri in her recliner or on the couch next to me.  I told you she sleeps a lot.  She does play at night, we can only tell by the stuff she drags out so she doesn’t keep us up doing it, which says a lot since Cheri is a very light sleeper.  But she is retarded in her own ways.

current009

Chewing cardboard – If we leave any kind of boxes out, she chews on it.  She doesn’t eat it, just chews on it.  Think of a flap of a cardboard box, she just loves the feel of her little teeth going into the cardboard.  She’ll bite, then move over a bit, then bite again.  She doesn’t tear off pieces and chew them, she just likes to bite them.  Since we don’t leave any boxes out for her, she’ll get into the trash and bite envelopes or on folders or the cover of Cheri’s pad of paper.

month3-03

Chewing shoes – She loves to chew on our shoes, and it’s like the cardboard, she just likes to sink her teeth into them.  While she has chewed on the rubber soles where they wrap up at the bottom of the shoe, she really loves to sink her teeth into the tongues of the shoes.  But here is where it differs from the cardboard, after she has slept for awhile, she gets up and she has to chew on something.  It’s really the only time she goes after our shoes is right when she wakes up.  It’s like a smoker needs that first cigarette or a coffee drinker has to have that first cup, it’s very strange.

month1-03

Chewing cords – I know, another chewing one.  She absolutely loves to chew on cords.  She prefers the rounds cords like phone or laptop chargers.  She has destroyed a bunch of phone chargers, she’s only gotten 1 of mine and maybe 2 of Cheri’s but our oldest daughter wouldn’t take the time to put hers up when she wasn’t around and she lost a bunch.  Our youngest kids, we make them leave their doors shut and the cat isn’t allowed in there.  She does chew on other cords such as lamps, tv, space heaters, ect, but she generally only goes after those if she can’t get a hold of the round ones.  Cheri has taken a pillow case and cut it up in strips and sewed them to make “tubes” that we can run the cords through.  We do a pretty good job at protecting all our cords, which is why she goes after the shoes.

month10-04

Sits on the couch – I mentioned above that she’ll sleep next to me on the couch and that’s not really that retarded because she’ll come up and lay next to me most evening.  I generally sit on one side of the couch and I’ll shift from leaning on the arm and putting my legs up on the rest of the couch to sitting straight up to sometimes leaning to the right over the middle of the couch.  The strange part is, anytime she notices me lean to the right to where my upper body is on the middle cushion, she comes over and wants to lay next to me.  She will just sit there and stare at me until I sit up, then she’ll hop up and lay next to me.  It’s almost like the middle cushion is hers and while she’ll let me put my feet on it, I’m not allowed to actually lay over on it.

month5-05

Blinds – She loves to sit on our dresser and look outside the window, to look down on everything.  The problem is, she pretends that she wants to do it as soon as the sun up.  As soon as dawn breaks and the sun is out, she’s batting at the blinds for us to open them.  The really bad part is, we think she just does it to wake us up because most of the time, she’ll get Cheri to open the blinds and then go lay on the bed.  Notice I said Cheri, that’s because as soon as she does it, Cheri is hopping out of bed because she knows if Kitty wakes me up, she’s getting a pillow thrown at her.

month9-06

Tail – I know, most pets chase their tails, and they are all retarded.  Kitty doesn’t do it often but she does like to chase her tail.

Ticker – Her latest obsession is the ticker on the bottom of the TV.  When I watch sports, most channels have a ticker and when Kitty sees it, she wants to get right up there and see it.  She doesn’t even bat at it, she just sits and stares at it.

current010

While she has her weird obsessions, she is a pretty good cat and we love her.  Which is funny because Cheri has never wanted a pet but our oldest talked her into it and now Cheri loves Kitty more than anybody else in the house and I’m not kidding, Cheri thinks I am, but I’m not.  She just needs to learn to admit it.

Randomness bullet points

After averaging a post every other day in August, I hit a dry spell and haven’t posted in almost a week, not since the 28th of last month.  I’ve had stuff to blog about but nothing spectacular so if I don’t blog about it when it happens, I tend to forget about it.  It was my long week at work and it was hot as well so I’m usually fairly drained by the time I get home.  I’ll give you some bullet points on my week to make up for the lack of posts.  Because my 2 or 3 regular readers are dying to know, not really.

  • I had one day that I pissed off my foreman.  I’m on my feet, walking on a metal catwalk for 11 hours a day in 100°+ heat and he wants to complain when I take a minute to sit on a bucket in front of a fan.  He caught me, again, and bitched me out.  Then he started to complain about how stressed he was at all these other people.  So I told him “You should relieve some of that stress by sitting on a bucket.”  Apparently, he didn’t appreciate the humor.  I heard he was complaining about me the whole rest of the day.
  • I had one day where I was pissed at my oldest daughter, actually I was pissed for a couple of days and still get pissed when I think about it.  Probably because nobody really acknowledged what happened.
  • I had one day where I didn’t do any social media.  Not on purpose, I just don’t usually do it much if at all at work and then I crashed early to bed when I got home.
  • theEx picked up the kids on Friday and returned them that night.  Then took them again at noon on Saturday and returned Samantha that night because she had a girl scouts function on Sunday.  Then I got Trevor back on Sunday night.  So Cheri was busy most of the weekend just driving the kids around because we can’t trust theEx to make sure kids get to their functions.
  • I’ve started listening to my first podcast.  I spoke of it in my last post but I enjoy the banter between the 2.  I usually hand the remote to Cheri and tell her to watch one of her shows, pop in my headphones, and listen while I go through my feedly (which I am way behind again).  I’m thinking about searching out a few more to listen to.  They’d have to be comedy and be really funny, and most importantly, free.  In case you missed my buddy’s, it’s at twoboredvets.com.
  • I have to bite my tongue all the time on my personal Facebook page because I live about 10 miles from the Notre Dame campus so I have a lot of friends and family that are Notre Dame fans while I am a Michigan fan.  The big thing is last year, Notre Dame bowed out of the rivalry and kept a few easier schools on their schedule when this was a huge (football and money making wise) game.  Coach Kelly (ND) said this week that he didn’t think of the Michigan game as a rivalry.  Really?  Maybe you should see all the anti-Michigan posts on my feed.  That’s all year long, it’s just doubled this week with them playing this coming Saturday.  I don’t even hate the school, just a lot of the delusional fans.
  • The kids are still enjoying their new school.  Samantha is running in cross country, that’s pretty much the only sport there is at her grade level.  I haven’t received any complaints on either one and Trevor actually brought home a progress report with a really good remark from the teacher.  .@lovejlaws - So proud of Trevor -) #ProgressReport #JimtownIntermediate #School - Webstagram - the best Instagram viewer
  • The previous weekend when I didn’t work, Cheri and I had a “Breaking Bad” marathon.  We started Friday night Aquoteforgenerationstocome-36774and watched seasons 1 thru 5 (first 8 episodes) on Netflix thru Sunday.  Then watched episodes 9 and 10 on demand, then recorded episode 11 live on Sunday night and watched those 3 on Monday night so we got all the way caught up.  We love the show and I think pretty much everyone in this family that watches it, loves Jessi.  You’d have to watch the show to understand the picture to the left, yo.  I posted it on my wife’s facebook page but I made sure she was the only one who could see it because I don’t think anyone in my family watches the show and didn’t want them to think I was calling her a bitch.  I’m sure that wouldn’t go over too well with either her or my family.
  • I started a new tumblr blog.  Mainly for my wife because I’m constantly showing her cat pictures and gif’s so I decided to just throw them on a blog and she could see them there.  Every 5th picture is a picture of our kitty as well.  You can check it out here - http://catsarewaycuter.tumblr.com/ or following it’s accompanying twitter account – @kitty20101
  • Had a great Labor day yesterday.  Pretty much all we did the whole day was sit at my mom’s in a big circle outside, eating and talking.  A day chatting with the family is always a good day.  Plus the weather was pretty good and made it more enjoyable to be outside.

I think that’s about it, I told you stuff went on, I just couldn’t sit my ass down and put it down on the computer.

A to Z Challenge - Q

If your new to this Challenge, every day of April, minus the Sundays you blog about the letter assigned for that day. To find out why I’m blogging about what I’m blogging about, then go here. Today’s letter is

Samantha’s word – Quinn

Well, the only Quinn I can think of is Brady Quinn , who was supposed to be Notre Dame’s savior for them to “Return to Glory” but he certainly wasn’t that.  He was a decent QB, maybe even a little better than average but he hasn’t done crap since he went pro.  Which seems to be typical with their QB’s lately.  Wait, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman or something like that.  I think my mom used to watch that show.  I don’t remember much about it other than it took place in the old west (I think).  Aiden Quinn, I know the name, don’t really know who he is by face.  I know he’s an actor.  I just googled him and I’m ashamed to admit that he is on one of my favorite current shows.  I suck.  That’s about it I got for Quinn, the paragraph was longer than I expected.

Trevor’s word – Quilt

We just bought a new quilt a couple of months ago.  We don’t use a comforter on our bed, Cheri prefers a quilt.  But she is very picky and rightfully so.  The quilt we were replacing she has had for years and years (I think) but it was nice because it wasn’t heavy.  That’s the main attribute that she looked for because if it’s too heavy for one, it’s too warm, and two, it’s harder to move at night.  Which for her is a big deal because she’s a mover all night long.  I’m a log, for the most part, once I’m out, I am out.  The second attribute for Cheri is of course it’s looks.  She found a pattern she liked online, we went to the local target to check it out and ended up buying it.  I’m pretty sure I can find a picture of it on her Instagram, probably with a cat on it, but you’ll get the idea, I’ll go look, hang here a sec.

Told you I could find a few, and they all have Kitty on them.  She has over 200 photos on her Instagram, I bet at least 150 of them have Kitty in them.

A to Z Challenge - C

If your new to this Challenge, every day of April, minus the Sundays you blog about the letter assigned for that day. To find out why I’m blogging about what I’m blogging about, then go here. Today’s letter is

Samantha’s word – Cat

I should let my wife write this one.  Or you could go through my Instagram or better yet, hers because she probably has hundreds of pictures there.  When we got together, Cheri had no desire whatsoever to own a pet.  She likes her house to be very clean and a pet is usually the opposite of that.  But Skyler talked her into getting one and we went through the process.  We went to pet stores, humane society and pet refuges and Skyler held all kinds of cats.  We ended up going back to the very first place we looked at a cat and she picked out a cat named Sally.  But Skyler decided to name her Lux.  Why?  I have no idea.  But we never call her that anymore, she’s called Kitty.  She is pretty much Cheri’s cat now.  Skyler is a teenager, and between her working, going to school, and hanging out with her boyfriend, she is never home so Cheri pretty much adopted her.  Cheri absolutely loves her now and can’t even leave the house for very long without thinking about poor Kitty home all alone.

Kitty and I napping together

I might like her a little bit too.  She has her annoying habits as well, when she’s been sleeping for awhile (and let’s face it, that’s all cats do) she’ll wake up with the urge to chew.  All our shoes have teeth marks, we have to hide our cords, especially chargers, and we can’t leave any cardboard laying around.  Some mornings, she comes into our bedroom and annoys the crap out of us until we open the blinds so she can sit next to the TV and look out.

But all in all, she’s a good cat.  Don’t tell Cheri I said that.

Trevor’s word – Calf

I had very defined calf muscles growing up, I was athletic.  What?  Oh, he means baby cows.  Well that’s what I always called my calves anyways, baby cows.  I don’t have much to say on the word calf.  Is there a thing as calf tipping?  Teenagers do cow tipping, maybe pre-teen do calf tipping.  If you were from a rich school, would calf tipping be giving a couple of bucks to baby cows?

The only cow story I have, that I just remembered, I’ll have to use in a Cousins post.  It involves cow poop all over one of the cousins.  See the A to Z Challenge is already paying off and giving me stuff to write about.

Weekly Catch-Up

Jeff Laws

I updated my cover photo again this week.  The Walking Dead starts in 2 weeks.

Jeff Laws(1)

Updated my profile pic too.  This was taken awhile ago but I thought it was fitting.

Jeff Laws(2)

I created this ecard after my daughter came home with a popped tire.  She said she slid into a curb at Walmart, which I believe, but she said that she is so unlucky.  That I don’t believe, I’ve seen the way she drives and know the way she lies.

I was really proud of both of them but Trevor is the one that usually does really well so it was a surprise to see Samantha come home with the 4 star award.

It’s the same people, over and over again.  I know your stance, I know you hate Obama, say it, then move on.  Not post 10 different things saying the same thing daily.

I guess I didn’t do too much on Twitter this week.  Although, technically, I posted 20 tweets during this time.  This was the only one that won’t get posted elsewhere on this Weekly Catch-Up.  I post my Instagram, Blog Posts, and Tumblr links all to my Twitter as well.

Didn’t do much on Instagram either.  Just another picture that I post to make my wife jealous because Kitty likes to lat with me on the couch.

I love when Wil Wheaton is on “the Big Bang Theory”.  Maybe because he annoys Sheldon and we all know how funny Sheldon is when he’s annoyed.

Sawyer was hilarious on “Lost”.  Between his sarcasm and his nicknames, he was by far the funniest character.

Do I really need to say anything else about this.

Sheldon Scare

More of “the Big Bang Theory” hilarity.

The greatest basketball player ever.

Another great show going by the wayside.  I loved watching “Leverage”.

Almost Kings

Finished “Almost Kings” by Max Doty.  Review from WWW Wednesday #3.

This was a good book.  It follows a high school senior and his younger brother who is a freshman.  The younger brother looks up to his big brother and wants to be just like him.  Until he starts become one of the gang, the Kings, and he starts to see what they are really into and where it can lead.

This is more of a drama and not what I normally read, but I enjoyed it all the same.  It had a bit of a dark side to it which made it enjoyable.

Listened to (All Items 2) a total of 128 tracks.

Left to listen to (All Items) a total of 960 tracks.

Total of 1,088 tracks.

Thoughts on Suicide – I liked this post, just wish I had more viewers to get the message out.

TheEx and the JackAss, episode 12 – Just more bitching about dealing with theEx and her JackAss.  Mainly about how they can’t tell time.

WWW Wednesdays #3 – My latest on this meme.

My Kind of Humor #6 – Just the latest funnies from my Random Thought’s Facebook page.

Randomness – I talk about a guy at work and his obsession with sweatshirts, about my kids and their schoolwork and also my disappointment on not going to a card show this weekend like I planned.
