I imagine it's rare to have grandp...Very true. I imagine it's rare to have grandparents for this long. My kids have already lost 2 grandfather's. Although, technically, my dad was gone a long time before they came. I had both sets of my grandparents up until my grandfather died a few years ago. Although I had little to no relationship with my father's side. Maybe that's why I'm so close to my mom's parents. That, and they are just cool as hell. She p...I want to be like my grandma when I grow up. She passed away a couple years ago, and the best thing I did was think about all the memories. My nieces were in tears the whole time, but I was able to hold it together because I have a lifetime to remember. Those poor girls were just 13 at the time.<br /><br />People like you and I are so lucky to have all that good stuff to look back on!
