Playing Catch Up

I haven't had to much to say lately (I know, again?) so I figured I'd give a little run down of what all I've been doing on social media. Don't worry, I won't get into all the sports blogs that I do but if you do want to check those out, you can go to the new Where Am I page listed above.

This was posted on my Random Thoughts blog page on Facebook.

I didn't post much on there this week, that was all you get, but I like to make fun of those with allergies, maybe because I don't suffer from them. I just can't breathe period.

I've been making an effort to tweet more. I usually come up with something to tweet at work but it takes to much effort because the service is so bad inside the building. So I set it up to be able to text statuses in so that will help out. The first couple I tweeted by text were going to the wrong account though so I had to change that.

Samantha, her friend and I went to see Logan last Sunday. Great movie, it was hard seeing Wolverine all worn down but it was great story to end on. I keep track of the movies I've seen on Letterboxd and I also tweet them now. The link is to my profile page.

If you haven't seen the show I recommend it. They go into a haunted place, one is an investigator and he goes in during the day and interviews the family and does background on the house and property. Then at night, a psychic or whatever you want to call them goes in and she can see ghosts. The don't meet up at all until the end when they get together with the family and compare notes.

Yeah, that happened. We ended up having to watch the end of the Walking Dead the next day off of the On Demand, same with the whole episode of the Talking Dead.

Tuesday is a popular night for our shows. Actually, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are all busy nights for the DVR. We usually get caught up by the time Sunday night rolls around.

It was nice out on Monday and Tuesday and I took the dog for a 2 mile walk after work. Then it got cold and the walks went bye bye.

True story.

Both of these places have had the same signs as long as I can remember then all of the sudden, they both get new signs and they are both the same design of signs.

I finished a book and started another this week. I only read during my breaks at work so I don't get through a ton of books but I have set a goal of 50 books this year. Last years was 45 and I just surpassed it so I upped it for this year.

I finished Beckoning Souls and gave it 4 stars and I started Whispers of the Dead.

I figured I'd run down the songs that I posted on my Last Song of the Day blog.

Genie in a Bottle by Christina Aguilera

Evil Woman by Electric Light Orchestra

Born 2 Run by 7Lions

Riot by Three Days Grace

Angel of Mine by Monica

Bad Company by Bad Company

What's My Age Again by Blink-182

I really enjoy this music blog. Even though I don't really post a lot about the songs themselves, I love the mix of music that goes into it. I now have 225 songs listed by 181 different artists spanning 19 different genres.

Last but not least, my Fitbit stats for the week.

As I said, Monday and Tuesday I walked after work so you can see why those days got so many more steps.

  1. I have the same trouble with making Twitter posts. I don't have my phone at my desk at work and I have my mobile data turned off so by the time I get home I've usually forgotten what I was planning to say anyway.

  2. I rarely run out of things to say on my blog and I always feel like I'm trying to play catch up in life. Right now I'm about 30 years behind and the gap keeps growing wider. I tweet blog promo stuff pretty regularly and random weird crap. And when a political rage or annoyance hits me then I'll tweet that. Maybe I need to stop that though and buy a Fitbit. My sister has been bugging me to get a FitBit. Probably so she can let me know how much more physically active she is as though I didn't know that already.
