A to Z Challenge–Macklemore & Ryan Lewis to Mylon & Broken Heart

* the “genres” listed are my own timeline of music which you’ll find here.  If you want to know a quick story of the genre, (Why the hell is he listening to that?) then click the genre link to go back to the timeline page.  (My genres are classic, 80’s, Christian, hip hop/rap/90’s, rock/alternative, Virginia song, before spotify and spotify.

**Any pictures of album covers denotes that I owned it at one time in my life.

macklemore

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – I don’t know anything about the people who sing this but I know I love the words and the message behind this song.

Macy Gray

Madonna

Madonna – You knew I listened to 80’s so you have to have some Madonna.  There’s a song up there that Cheri put on our CD.  Anytime I tell her she’s beautiful, she’d tell me I was crazy so I would start singing “Crazy For You” so she stuck it in there.

Mariah Carey

Marilyn Manson

Marky Mark

Maroon 5

Martika

Mary Chapin Carpenter

Tin Cup

Matchbox 20

Matt Nathanson

Matt Nathanson – I have no idea who he is but I like this song.  Cheri put it on our CD so that was the only reason I’ve heard the song.

MC Hammer

MC Hammer 2

Meat Loaf

Futuristic motorcycle rider; the motorcycle has jet exhaust. A bat-like figure on the tower of a building.

Megadeth

Men at Work

Men Without Hats

Metallica

Michael Bolton

Michael Franti

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson 2

Michael Jackson – I’ve always liked MJ’s music, not so sure about him, but his music was awesome.

A image of a silver status that is wearing a military-like outfit and has its hair clipped behind its head. To the left of the statue the words "MICHAEL JACKSON" are written in white letters and underneath those two words are other words written in smaller white print. Behind the statue, a sky with clouds that are black and red can be seen.

Michael W Smith

Michael W Smith 2

Michael W. Smith – Another Christian singer that I really liked back in the day.  I seen him in concert once and none of his band was there so he did the whole concert on the piano.  It was pretty great and I’m a sucker for good piano music to begin with.

Miley Cyrus

Miranda Lambert

Montell Jordan

Motley Crue

Mr Mister

Mudvayne

Mylon and Broken Heart

Mylon and Broken Heart 2

Mylon & Broken Heart – I’ve seen them in concert multiple times, probably at least 5 or 6 but could be up to 10 times.

  1. I only share Miranda Lambert from my playlists. My grand kids love Maroon 5 but my granddaughter is terrified of Michael Jackson...Keep up the good work. You are putting a lot of work into these but they are so interesting to read.

  2. Such good M choices. Megadeth for sure. Peace Sells, But Who's Buying, Metallica Master of Puppets, yep. My list would feature a lot of Muddy Waters and Marvin Gaye too.

    1. I thought I had more Megadeth then I did, I will have to revisit their page. Muddy Waters and Marvin Gaye as well, I'm sure I know some of their songs as well.

  3. There is a lot to love on this list! I love Madonna, and I am a huge fan of Maroon 5. I also have quite a few Marilyn Manson songs on my list, among others.
