Daft Punk

Dan Fogelberg

Dana Key

Darius Rucker

Daughtry

David Lee Roth

DC Talk

DC Talk 2

DC Talk – As you can tell, I’m a pretty decent DC Talk fan.  I have most of their songs from the albums I owned on my playlist.  I’ve also seen them in concert a lot, and by a lot, I mean probably around double digits.  They started out as a Christian rap group and I liked them but as they progressed in their career and added more singing with a mix of rap, I liked them much more.

That’s pretty much all of their albums but one but the one has a bunch of their solo stuff and not as a group.

Dead or Alive

Dean Martin

Def Leppard

Default

DeGarmo and Key

DeGarmo & Key – This Christian rock group I’ve seen in concert multiple times as well.

Dierks Bentley

Digital Underground

Dire Straits

Disturbed

Dixie Chicks

DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince

DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince – The Fresh Prince would be Will Smith for all you young ‘ens.

Dolly Parton

Dominick Hauser

Don Henley

Donna Summer

Doors

Drowning Pool

Duran Duran

  1. Some great D artists on your list! Duran Duran, David Lee Roth, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, Dean Martin. All on my person favorites list. Might add the Dead Milkmen and the Dead Kennedys. Possibly Devo. Whip It is a pop culture standard.

    Great post!!

    1. I'm going to have to do a post about all the music I've added since doing the A to Z Challenge. How did I not have Whip It?

    1. My kids love when Dean Martin comes on, not! Islands in the Stream is one of those that you have to sing along with.

  3. So glad you included Dean Martin, but his version of Sway hands down beats every other version!

    1. I went and listened to it, I can't say that I've ever heard that song but I didn't exactly get the chance to listen to him much before Spotify.

    1. When I set up the playlist originally, I just added the songs that I recognized the title. I just went through their top 10 on Spotify and added a few more that I knew, just didn't know the title. Thanks for the kick in the ass to get me straightened out. Lol
