WWW Wednesdays #9

WWW_Wednesdays4

To play along, I’m supposed to answer 3 easy questions.

What are you currently reading?

Moonlight (Pact Arcanum, #3)

Moonlight (Pact Arcanum #3) by Arshad Ahsanuddin

I haven’t technically started it yet.  I’ve put it in my favorites, which is what I do with the books that I’m currently reading so I don’t have to search my Kindle every time I go to read.  The favorites are on the home page.

What did you recently finish reading?

Sunrise (Pact Arcanum, #2)

Sunrise (Pact Arcanum #2) by Arshad Ahsanuddin

After not giving the first book much praise, then loving the second book, I was wondering how I would like this one.  I loved it, as a matter of fact, I read 90% of it in one day.  That’s mainly because it was slow at work but I had other things I could have done but I got into the story and couldn’t put it down.  My main complaint about the first book was it was hard to follow the backstory.  Which I really understand now because if it went into more detail, the book would have been huge.  I said in my last WWW Wednesdays that I was only 10% in to this book but it seemed like a prequel.  I was right, and it was great.

This book starts at the beginning of it all, you learn about each of the main characters from the first book.  You learn how the Triumvirate came about and how the treaty originated.  You even learn how Nick became who he is.  I did really enjoy this one and there was plenty of action to make it even better.  I gave it 5 stars on Goodreads and it was worth it.  After reading the first book I wasn’t sure that I was going to enjoy this series, but after the last two, I’m looking forward to the next one.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Starlight (Pact Arcanum, #4)

Starlight (Pact Arcanum #4) by Arshad Ahsanuddin

As I’ve said before, Arshad has sent me these books to review so I will read the next in the series.

  1. I read so many blogs that, aside from writing, I don't have much time left for reading anything else. This troubles me.
