A to Z Challenge - A

If your new to this Challenge, every day of April, minus the Sundays you blog about the letter assigned for that day.  To find out why I’m blogging about what I’m blogging about, then go here.  Today’s letter is

Samantha’s word – AACOA

I guess at least I know my daughter knows where I work.  It stands for Architectural Anodizing Company of America, or at least that’s what I think it means.  I might have discussed my work on this blog before.  They actually recognize the building as well since one of the father’s at lego league said that when they drove past my work, his son pointed it out.  Apparently, they went past it on a field trip and Trevor pointed it out.  I thought maybe I had a stalker but no such luck.  The kids are actually familiar with AACOA because for awhile, I worked 1st shift and theEx worked 2nd shift so when she came to work, she would bring them in and I would take them home.  They would sit in the break room while we switched shifts so the people that have worked there for awhile know them pretty well.  Especially Frank, because he always bought them crap out of the machine.

Trevor’s word – Alex

Um, well, I don’t know Alex.  Or at least the Alex that he’s talking about.  So I could talk about Alex Rios and how he won a game in the World Baseball Classic for Puerto Rico a few weeks ago or how I hope he has a great season this year since he plays for the Chicago White Sox.  Maybe he means Alex Rodriguez, who had it all and threw it all away because of steroids.  I asked my wife if she knew Alex and she came up with Alex Karev which is a character on Grey’s Anatomy. That’s about all I got for Alex.

Riveting stuff, I know.
